Do you have installation instructions for the V5's?

I've done up my artwork! It's nice and bodacious. Are we all gonna split on one album? Just curious.

I compose my songs in FL Studio then transpose them into LSDJ. It feels like a more fluid option when I'm not exactly sure what I want to make, where as if I know what I'm going to do, I'll start in LSDJ (or any tracker, really). If you feel like its "fakebit", limit yourself. I only let myself use four "channels" in the playlist editor, use a single-shape waveform in the most basic synth (3xOsc) and compose the drums with the kits I exported from LSDJ into wav files. Its close enough to where I can make something easily and not be stuck with figuring out how I'm going to get it to work in LSDJ later.

Still up for more people? I'm not that close regarding distance, but if we're just using the internets and all...

Generic Lounge Music

A cheesy jazz-elevator song is already playing in my head. I wouldn't mind this.

Edit: Is it wrong to do my resampling in FL Studio?

I'll have a go at it!

I like the "have fun and do what you feel like" philosophy of music production, and this has that feel to it. Did buy/10.

Gonna be there on the 26th! Road trip lets goooooooo

Stop in Michigan! Could always use some chipravefuntimes here. Ann Arbor, not Detroit, my basement...

I'm working on a pixel typeface called robot_neighbors (if you click on it, the ugly anti-aliasing goes away).

Also another setting for a typeface (I like making them).

I think the only thing that doesn't sound cohesive is where the "crunch" drops out in the kick near the middle. I love the lead, and the variation in sounds, also the end with the guitar is great, kinda like Anamanaguchi. I'd say its solid work if it means anything from me.

I like to find a nice chord progression first, then I lay it out with a nice trance pluck synth and a simple dance beat in my DAW, I find it helps to get the thoughts moving, having at least something of a song fleshed out. FL Studio has a really solid piano roll, so it's easy to see the notes that fit in the progression and lay new ones on top of what's already there. I start with quarter notes and move them around and something usually catches my ear. From there it's a simple matter of porting the notes from FL to LSDJ.

I think everyone has their own methods of inspiration, it's just a matter of finding your own or what others do that works well for you.

edit: I forgot to mention, usually when I find a really amped melody that I could listen to forever, I'll strip it down, and build the song backwards off of that. So I'll remove notes from it, or only use the first bit of it, take out the bass, slow down the drums until I've reached the beginning.

Is his (DJ Transformer's) store still alive? I saw a news post on there from late 2012, so I purchased a couple things. Was that my first mistake? I've emailed him, about a week ago, and no response yet. Just curious as to if I should try and refund my money or not.

I did a project for one of my graphic design classes a little while back using Audacity to bend the images.

It was an illustration for a story that you can read here if you want.

(don't mind my poor linux terminal knowledge)
