so is sync being passed through the Expansion port using a custom solution or via an ENIO?

It's value is really dependent on if the cart has any prototype materials in it's rom banks

Honestly I was hoping for a GB everdrive, but I'm equally excited for this. Time to get an AV Famicom

the HFC2 can change nsf without you relying on seeing a screen for input

With ENIO the limits of what the NES can do have officially been demolished.

As ENIO is in a beta-testing state and its infancy in development it is currently limited to a few very useful but revolutionary functions.

As is, the ENIO is currently:

- A no-solder expansion audio modification.
- A USB keyboard mod; which could very well turn into MIDI input/output.
- An external bootloader with SD.
- Ethernet capable.

Finally... big_smile

I'm glad to see b00daw is here

Does anyone know where an TNS-HFC2 NSF Playback cart can be obtained? I'm not sure he's actually actively producing them anymore, but if you know where to get one / have one you'd part with, lmk

for reference this is the cart I recently sold on the forums

you might notice the top picture has less wires, NTRQ actually only needs 2 wires to work properly since it is a 1mbit rom. Pin 30 is Not Connected inside of 1mbit chips, so there is no reason to wire it up. Pin 31 is not needed on SNROM boards. The only necessary wires are Pin 2 to Hole 24, and tying Pin 24 to GND (I use pin 16)

I just built another NTRQ using a Bard's Tale donor, working fine..
