An interesting article from Crash in 1988 on computer and videogame addiction.
I know its the kind of extreme examples you hear every time a story like this comes up even these days, i've never heard of prostitution fo fund a "gaming addiction" before.
I also find it interesting that in the little "are you an addict" questionnaire at the bottom 15 and 25 hours a week are considered addiction.
Most office workers will get paid to use a computer for around 40 hours a week, and i'd surely use atleast another 15 hours in my own time.

That book finally got released! The guy who wrote it(obiwannabe) pretty much lived on puredata.hurleur for years, and has an answer to most questions.
Theres another one called "the bang book" or something similar that i had almost permanently borrowed from uni.
