This is going to be awesome. I'm bringing my Hexawe t-shirt, even though there's no piggy performance. It'll be there in my heart.

It's too bad this was already on I Love Copyleft otherwise it'd be going up there right now.

Dammit, I'm seriously considering doing that anyway.

Not enough people went ballistic when Jonathan dropped No More Lies. I know I did and a couple of the people around me (I was the one with the neckbeard over in the front left corner, next to the speaker) but I was hoping for the entire room to explode into rainbows or something. Hey, at least they did that for Anamanaguchi.

Also HotChaCha was really loud and my ears are still ringing like two hours later.

And you haven't heard George & Jonathan until you've heard Anamanaguchi play along.

you should just play some anamanaguchi / starscream / george and jonathan jams instead! :-)

I'll see if I can get them to count them as specialty show cuts if I ask really, really nicely.

I would go but I have a CS final at 2:45 the next day. I'll see if my roommate with a car will be willing to come with me to the show before I decide that I already know CS and that chipmusic stimulates my brain anyway.

Weird coincidence, I played Bukarest by HotChaCha on WITR (RIT's radio station) today. I wish I could play a Revengineers song on WITR but they either don't have any or don't want them. And station policy prohibits me from bringing in outside music. sad

Anyway if I'm there I'll be the fat kid with the Animal Style t-shirt vigorously fist-pumping.

Seeding like an angiosperm. This stuff kicks ass and I don't think I've even heard the thunderstorm yet.

I Love Copyleft, a music blog run by starPause (k9d) with contributions from me. He's doing Sundays, I'm doing Fridays. If anybody else wants to join, we'd be glad to have you. We're not limited to chipmusic, though we do love it.

Reminder for everyone who doesn't like the vocals: the source .it files do not have the vocals. You can play those, even convert them to .mp3, if you don't want any of the vocals.

And this, this release is amazing and entirely worth the wait.

Clearly, I am a moron. In any case, controlling MuddyGB via MIDI would be something to check out too.

mGB = MuddyGB. It's a freeware .gb program that lets you play notes in a specified scale by mashing on the d-pad. It's excellent for jamming. Here's a video of it in action:

I don't know how hard it would be to get MIDI / USB control of a Gameboy. You could probably do something similar to what Animal Style did for his GBC foot controller and GB foot controller.

(this functions as my blog, except I can just post amusing things I found if I feel like it)

little-scale seems to use KiGB, so you can run LSDJ in that. And there's always the piggy.

This is worth it for the line "IT'S TIME TO RAAAVE!" at the beginning. Also, eurobeat. This is my new studying live set.
