RAR Frog is a program that I use to extract .rar files. It's free and very easy to use. You don't double click to go into things, but it will open with RAR Frog and extract into a normal folder. Then you can go into. I'm not quite sure what you will need to use it for, and this might not be what you want, but it works for extracting .nds roms and other things. Hope this helps

Not had chip folk, but other random people who appear. That sounds pretty intense though.

whenever i feel the inspiration to make music.
Before bed, car rides, public transport rides (cause I'm not the one driving) and when I don't want to do anything else.

the thing about releasing or performing covers in general is that you have to treat the original with respect and really do it justice or people are just going to shit on you.
He has a point... In my view, the best way to start out is to create shitty but original tunes. Like I'm no Sabrepulse, but there is a definite improvement in my tunes from when I started and now. Really, get an emulator (VBA, BGB, etc) and use LSDJ with it. I started (and am currently using *grr*) with LameBoy (emulator) with my R4. LSDJ is what I am using with it. I began my chiptunes by compiling random notes together and attempting to make something out of them. I know. A crappy way to do it. But I figured most stuff out with minimal help (save LSDJ manual and my cousin). Really, original tunes are the way to go, as you can see how you're improving, and you won't piss off people with bad covers.

Topic: Any Copenhagen Events? (3 replies, posted in General Discussion)
I realise now that I just missed one, but have any one of you caught wind of some kind of chip event in Copenhagen happening soon? I was looking at the venues and there's nobody that I know of visiting (or any other cool artists for that matter). So are there any open air concerts or something? Maybe events?

Wow this is an awesome idea. I wish you luck, cause cramming all that in might be a challenge. Anyway. Can't wait for updates.

Well that sucks monkey balls. Is there maybe some form of filter that you could place over it to make the backlight darker?

Yeah I listed that first. It's probably the best bet of getting a light

OMG why did I post that?! God I'm stupid! I realised that with another ebay item but not with this one? God how even?
But yes. You should take what you can find. Gameboy Lights are harder to come across.
