They're in stock on nonfinite.

Thanks for the in depth testimonial! Are you referring to the ems64 carts? To my understanding the PROM carts on kitsch are without save functions, and thusly without batteries. I suppose without batteries the largest component would be the socket and eprom itself.

Hey gang,
I'm curious if any of you have purchased one of these carts and swapped the case for a standard, either a DMG classic style case, or a CGB case (roomier). I'm making a little board book project ROM for my son's birthday that I'd like flashed onto a cart so he can have a one-of-a-kind cart with something just for him! If these PROM cart PCBs (which I know will be perfect for the ROM I'm working on) can fit in another case, that'd be great. I myself wouldn't be bothered by a big exposed PCB, but I really don't want raw electronics exposed on this cart. Anyone have experience fitting one of these into a classic / color case? Any tips if so?

Thanks!

I'm a jerk with a bad sense of humour. It was supposed to be like the Simpsons episode with Linguo. I apologize to anyone disturbed by this.

And I'm sorry for publicizing my delayed shipment. In retrospect  I feel like a total tool.

I really look forward to receiving your stuff though!

I ordered some stuff recently and am getting the old dj transformer experience: complete radio silence. Anyone hear from him/them lately?

That's fair.  So far it seems like I can build the sounds I like pretty rapidly,  but then there's always room to complexify. Thanks for the info!

I love chord so far, but am unsure of the real benefit to saving. Maybe someone can give me a real life example of using the save feature assisting in use in their work flow?

Hey all! I sold my extra cartridge a couple years ago, but u really want to play with this! Don't want to spend the full 40 bucks on an ems64 cart.. can anyone advise if this rom runs on the cheaper prom carts on kitch-bent?

Don't ask why I want to do this, just curious if anyone out there would be into it. It's a blue xl with Pokemon x, korg m01d, animal crossing, harvest Moon GB, dr mario, retro city DX, and some other stuff. Hopefully anyone interested might have an xl with an overlapping library or at least pkmn x and korg m01d. It's okay if it doesn't.

no build thread. this is something I started on almost a year ago! I've got a kid and a wife and job and no time for anything fun.
