So in your experience, a couple coats of spray paint well still allow for a view into the innards? The red one seems slight enough that you'd fool me into thinking it's a special edition shell, or some sort of dye job/clear coating.

Uploaded the original from 2010 a few weeks ago (see my profile..). This is a rework with wav/noi drums, wav bass added and an extra set of counter melodies. Just the right amount of discord that I'm after.

Beautiful work. The red one, was that atomic purple to begin with, or clear? Vinyl dyed, or color clear coated internally? It looks excellent.

I have an atomic purple CGB that I intend to front light, etc. and I'm curious if anyone has any experience spray painting one from the inside. What colors work well? If it were the smoke variant I might not be as concerned, but with the slight purple tint I'm afraid of getting crappy results from a paint job. I'm thinking blue, red, green, some bright color that will hopefully show through well.

Also, sorry in advance for what will likely be an incredibly mundane/benign thread.

Whats the equivalent of a 5-string bass in chipmusic?

edit: because, like.. I've kinda always thought they represented douche-bag early 2000s eyebrow ring rock.

My brain went there.

I went to school with Kent from TB, they just opened for Cursive. Pretty dope. Someone mentioned spokompton earlier and it made me curious for the chipscene there, if there was one.

@Kitsh:
OR/WA have their fair share of high-cost of living areas. If you're into a tight knit community away from the strikingly expensive city, yet still close to those cities, Bellingham, WA is a great place to live, good community (can't speak for the chip scene, if it exists) and good music scene. In OR, Eugene and Hood River provide similar experiences if you drum them up for yourself.

Yeah there's a consensus on the drums, and obviously I spent the last time on them. That'll have to change.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone. And bit, your suggestions are definitely taken to heart. Everything is work in progress.

First new complete track since 2010, first time using wav bass/kicks instead of drum kits. having 3 tonal channels instead of just 2 is so great, I feel like I cheated my old songs by using drum kits.

let me know what you think.

Doing live lsdj with behringer xenyx 302usb mixer. Looking for suggestions for a small amp with good low end or other small low-price solution.

Right on guys. I was hoping to not have to go buy a new piece of hardware, even though the amount of tries it could take when purchasing used keyboards might overshadow the newegg price.
Also, the blank keys are appropriately blank while a few white keys just don't work at all. It also seems to only work some of the time when I boot it up.

Chances are its just my keyboard? LSDJ shows input from the keyboard but no sound from a few keys. I've tested it on 4.6.0 and 4.0.3. Maybe those of you with experience making them can tell me something they ran into with this kind of functionality.
