If you want to make LSDJ songs in a unique way, there's a guy who sells modded Super Game Boys on the web. He has a pretty good variety of different mods. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Super-Game-Boy- … 2ec0f9bfba

Breakphase, do you think if you used glitchy arps mixed with random notes on the noise channel it would sound like one?

I have been using LSDJ for simple songs for about a few months now. I know that some people on YouTube and other sites make songs with Pokemon cries in DAWs. I'm sure people would want to make songs with Pokemon cries in LSDJ or any Game Boy tracker because GB trackers have the old Pokemon feel to it. Is it possible to recreate them in a Game Boy tracker? From playing Pokemon for a very long time the sounds don't seem to have any specific note to them.

Another idea is that Audacity has a built-in noise removal tool. If you're recording a simple track and you don't want to mix, I recommend Audacity.

The music from SMB2 when you're going to select a character is underrated. It reminds me of old Atari music. The most underrated sound track is from Pokemon Gold and Silver, especially the Kanto music. I think it's much better than the Red and Blue music.

Thanks for the info. The leather DMG's sound cool.

After reading what Vex said, I don't think I would buy one. Although I might buy the disco boy if kitsch puts it back in the store.

I was never a fan of the Nintendo 64s sound, but I think this is interesting because the N64 doesn't have average chiptune sounds. (NES, GB, etc.)

Hahah! I love it!

I would like to see a software that would be optimized for the original 3ds (not the XL.) Effects wouldn't be made with tables/hexidecimals, it would be made with something more visual and not text based. Also, it would make music for the NES. The problem that I have with LSDJ on the 3ds is that when your switching screens, the select button is very slightly hard to reach while using the d-pad (which makes a very big difference, since you would be making music alot.) This would be amazing if you made a new NES software, and I would definitely use it.

They could've made it on a sythesizer.

I thought is was a prosound because the jack looks like a prosound jack. Is it possible to prosound a DS though?

I found this prosound modded DS on ebay. Interesting, because all the prosounded handhelds I've seen are different Game Boy systems.
Have any well-known chiptune artists used a prosounded DS?

The graphics of your game are awesome! Amazing gradients.

I also like the NES arpeggios more. Yet the Game Boy has a better sounding noise/drum channel, in my opinion.

Which sounds in songs do you like more? For me, it's a tie. I like the NES sounds because they give me more of the retro-vibe, and I like the GB sounds because they're more chippy. So... which one do you like more?
