Mine works for me every time now. All I have to do is change it from master to midi then immediately start LSDJ while still in the menu screen and then start Ableton. Even syncing two game boys like this is working perfectly.

If you just need a few good backboards then I would be happy to sell you some. I also have a few loose cart connectors if you need those as well. PM me if you're interested. They could ship out tomorrow.

Awesome. Can't wait for every update. I've always wanted to build something similar. Not as intense as this really but similar.

I've got the teal one:

Probably the one you said was green? I got it on eBay. The listing said it was blue and it had a terrible picture. Thought it was going to be an official blue PIL. I was not disappointed.

Brilliant. I need that "Mario" font.

AWESOME! I wonder if the gauge of wire you're using for the cart connector is too thick though.. Seems like it could cause problems.

Little update on my end here.
If I switch it out of midi then back to midi, immediately start LSDJ then start Ableton it will sync 9 out of 10 times.
SO ODD.

We're planning to set the next one up in the summer time.

I wouldn't. These were either tests before doing a final version for a commission, or other shells that have passed through here from trades and whatnot. Not suitable for resale.

Ah got ya. Thanks for the heads up!

Well I finally figured it out. The socket for the SID must be worn out. I simply inserted another socket into the socket(which has bigger pins than the SID of course) and put the SID in that. Everything works perfectly fine now. And I just bought a new C64 too.. Oh, well!

Yeah most definitely. We would just come up with a value and consider it a trade in. You can email me about it.
