When in doubt just follow the traces for left output and right output from the CPU. They are pins 59(right) and 60(left). Solder your wires to the "-" side of the capacitor that follows.

The 3 internal screws are slightly shorter. You will make plastic bumps on the outside of the case if you use DMG screws. The tri-wing screws for holding the case together are all the same though.

This is just a thing that happens. The backlight didn't affect it in the other cases. They just go bad over time. You just need to replace the regulator board. This is why I'm working on developing a new one.

Since this should work with a wide variety of carts , could this be used to backup / reflash an old USB bleep bloop cart which isn't able to be be backed up via USB (for whatever reason) but otherwise works fine ? If so, i seriously cannot wait to buy this.

In theory, yes. A USB bleepbloop is no different from a non-USB bleepbloop, looking form the cartridge side. However, that of course assumes that the cart isn't otherwise broken, which might prevent the cart from being flashed.

Want all 4 of the ASM carts... Might just buy the "broken" one since it's such a deal..

You can replace the ribbon cable with little difficulty.

I'd say it's a fair price. The components for variable clock kits are insanely expensive! It's only .05 cents more than our basic kit!

Use 2-3 coats of a matte clear coat over any paint you use.

That Rockband keyboard is awesome! I use mine with an Arduino Boy and mGB. The touch slider also controls wave duty for some really awesome leads! It also has octave buttons. Very handy! The only downside is that(as far as I know) it can only output on MIDI channel 1.

No problem! We(thursdaycustoms and kitsch-bent) definitely back our products 100%. If there's ever an issue we don't stop until it's right.

Alrighty. There must be something wrong with the VC then. Which one did you have? Are you the same person that emailed me? If so email me again and we'll get a replacement sorted out. There seems to be an issue with the previous v1 version that allowed the "C" pad to bridge with the "V" plane when too much solder was used.

None that I would recommend. Nothing else seemed to work in the same way. Maybe buy up some cheap broken Game Boys and try out different paints.

Rust-o-leum 2x coverage. It chemically bonds to plastic after a week. I've had my dark grey painted DMG for about 2 years and there's barely a scratch on it. Even when I dropped it onto asphalt it only dented it. Didn't chip off.

The connector size is "H".
