i might mess with this when the stems are available

you do realize you can export as wav from audacity and import into logic for multi-tracking and mastering, right?

yeah, i have 3 pi's.. 2 are mostly for piggy (a model b and b+).. if youre going to order soon, may wish to hold off and grab a model 2, think m_._n may need to rework it slightly to work on it, but its got a 4 core 900mHz arm in it and 1GB of ram for the same price as a b+... actually need to get mine re setup, had some issues with how my disk images were so i should be redoing them soon and adding the mapping for my gamepad and double checking midi functionality soon... been putting it off lately since i havent been using midi and have a psp go, but this fb01 is sitting and not getting used...

and honestly, the noise reduction built into audacity sort of works the same way on stereo recordings, you just need a little lead-in/lead-out of what is supposed to be silent (but is really just any noise youd be getting on the recording from the device/cable/imperfections in your soundcard)

more than im spending on anything these days, but these are pretty great...i had one for years and sometimes miss having one... pretty much anyone will find at least 5-6 video effects that fit their style.. only wish id ever used mine with piggy midi controlling it, maybe i'll get one again at some point... definitely recommend to people who do a/v sets if you can spare the cash

sounded good to me smile

kits? i'm a little confused

this isnt really an additional channel, just creative composition

I'm pretty sure any Gameboy program is restricted to these 4 channels ( hardware limitation )

true of all dmg/gbc software, besides the nanoloop 1.5 with the 5th channel using the additional audio in that the hardware could support, but wasnt used much
gba software can support more, nanoloop 2.2 had 7 channels

i like the first two albums, but sort of dont listen to them much anymore....
i played a show with this guy Doldrums a few years back who did a split 12" with Portishead that came out that month (late 2009 , called "Chase the Tear").. but since it was in a standard chicago show, there were only like 12 people there (including artists)... it was kind of fun though and after soundcheck Doldrums was was walking around humming the song i soundchecked with

sorry mate thought you were telling me to quit the bit

anyway.

Looking at what the pissbox does it seems that it can be done just as easily on a DAW except not live. and I wouldnt be able to use it live as I need to use stereo channels for dubbing

you could look into a more serious piece of hardware with a noise gate then... something like this http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/ … aQodVncABw

this, seriously its just a matter of the right cables for the mixer

you don't actually need to mod them at all to use them with a mixer... all those mods do is add different jacks besides the headphone jack and improve your signal to noise ratio
