Although I'm not going to buy either of them (I lack money) I wouldn't mind owning either of them. It shows that they have history, a story behind them.

There are ways to fit different screws in there. You can go with a slightly bigger screw, it will make its own threads. Or you can put some epoxy in the screw hole and let it dry, then you can fit another size of screw in there.

A good habit to have is.. whenever you're about to throw dead electronics in the trash, rape the corpses first. Screwns, pots, faders, microswitches, etc. Eventually, you'll have use for those pieces. And if you're like me and have absolutely no shame, when you see some old VCR or whatever in the trash, pick it up and harvest it before putting it back in the trash.

Or don't throw it out in the first place

Hehe, that's how it starts out, but as you take apart, and buy (and magically attract) more and more tat, it starts to build up into a sizable collection.

As you can see, i'm not low on them at all wink I'm fairly certain i could put them in a normal envelope so shipping wouldn't be more than $2.50 or something.

I wish my bits box was that populated

They sound less dickish and condescending in my head. I'll take a second look through posts I make, just incase they could be taken as more offensive than I meant them to come across.

I've got a question, does doing this mean that it can only be controlled with an NES controller, or can you still use the buttons on the gameboy?

I have the same problem, just try and play at all age venues. Chances are that if you're underage, you won't be able to perform anywhere where alcohol is sold, so bars and the like are right out. Although where I live doesn't have as big a music scene as places near to me, we still have one or two underage venues, so just look I guess. Also, there's a pretty big chip scene in texas, It'd probably be a good idea to talk to some other texas chip artists and get advice and ideas etc off of them.

I love that light which comes from the side. heart

Nice, pretty similar to my (still incomplete) setup, Green Kitsch case, Yellow backlight (normal polarization) and yellow buttons.

Cool to read through what some people have said here. I've gone back through some of the compilations I was involved in during 8bc times and have definitely noticed the absence of a few of my favorites.

That being said, I'm not as active in the forums these days but I've got a new album that I'm putting out in August.

Feels good to touch base. wink Hey everyone!

Oh cool, can't wait to hear it!

It would have been a better idea if you'd posted in the introductions thread
