nope, wait, nevermind.  they were just slow wink

they are all gone!

all but the last one sold in the first 7 minutes.

6 minutes, 47 seconds to be precise.

the other half of the batch goes online at 3:00 in the morning (est)

see you then!!!  tongue

i can see someone holding it, in fact.  there is an app in the site, i can basically see everyone accessing the page, including their location/id/whatever.  just what is public info, nothing nefarious...

i suspect the person holding the last ones does not intend to purchase them but is just holding them in their cart. i'm looking at them now, sitting there tongue

the system will dump their cart soon if they don't make a move...

hey everybody -

they're here.

http://store.kitsch-bent.com/product/dr … -cartridge

in order to be fair, we're splitting this batch into two halves; the second half will be available for purchase 12 hours after the first.  because our customer base is global this seems only fair.

THE FIRST HALF GOES ON SALE AT EXACTLY 15:00 EST (-5 GMT), roughly 30 minutes from now.

THE SECOND HALF OF THIS BATCH WILL GO ON SALE AT 3:00 EST, 12 hours later.

i'm sure you know....  but these will sell out quickly.

that's it, keep chipping!  and clicking refresh...

thanks!

i have made several templates.

the issue i found was that even printing on the different printers i had access to, using a template didn't assure the same alignment.

then again, i'm not sure how to go about making a template that adapts to printer settings.  the most I was doing was aligning the pictures according to measurements, which printed inconsistently.

i can post a picture showing the layout of the stickers, they're symmetrical and maybe someone with more word processor knowledge can make something.  would that help if i posted a dimensional drawing showing how the sheet is split?  its 8 sections, basically...

if someone knows a solution to the issue i encountered - inconsistency in alignment between printers - or just has a lot of exposure with template making for a widely used software (word, etc), i'd be up for sending a sheet to you if you'll send back said template!

I think i may know someone to ask about this. I'll see what they say, and send you a PM if they have suggestions or are willing to help.

that'd be awesome!

i didn't pay enough attention in word processing or something...  it should be so simple too.

YES, we'd love to send out material as well.

we can handle a HEAVY load of materials.  bring it on...

in the spirit of mutual aid, i thought maybe it'd be a good idea to get a thread going where we can list our address info, and take part in a 'sharing circle' which helps us all spread the word about each other.

basically:
-- leave your shipping address in this thread if you want to receive promo materials from other people.
-- also, state if you have material you'd like to send out as well (so people can PM you if you don't leave your address for stuff to be sent to you)
-- let people know whether you can handle a small, medium, or heavy amount of promo materials.  (some people mail a lot, some don't, some have cities to plaster with stickers, others not)

nothing is binding, although please don't mark that you're willing to send out others peoples stuff and then you sit on it.  it takes some effort to get materials gathered together, and it'd be a waste of resources.

business cards, show flyers, stickers, buttons, swag, whatever...   i'm personally always interested in sharing promo material, and i really love when people send in stuff that i can send out in packages and help them out a little bit.  its all a targeted audience.

an example:

-----

first and last name
my address
my city, country, and area code
etc...

YES.  I have material I'd like to send out as well.

I can handle a SMALL / MEDIUM / HEAVY load of promo materials.

there are little tabs the stick out slightly on the contacts, it holds them in place.  they stick slightly into a gap in the plastic to hold them in place.

with some sort of flat metal implement, or something rigid, you can push these metal tabs flat and the battery contacts will fall out.  to reinstall them, gently bend these tabs like they were when installed, and push them back into place.  they usually snap-in slightly going back in.

nope, sorry.   just the ones past when i re(found) those buttons, which was a little before i made that post.

*** WHILE SUPPLIES LAST ***

i've got a bunch of spare DMG button sets (these are all just dpad, a, and b) that aren't color matched to the sets we sell in the shop, i've been sitting on them for a while.

so for as long as they are left, ALL orders over $30 (with shipping included) will come with a complimentary DMG button set.  this includes the ones from today I haven't caught up to yet (if you haven't gotten a shipping notice via email, you're in).

i'll try to match them to something you've bought if at all possible, but don't really want requests.    there are clear colors, blended colors, some random stuff.  they may not even all be dmg but i'm pretty sure they are.  but, hey, whatever.  its free over 30!

if you really don't want them just opt-out in the checkout comments...

yeah, i'm not really sure on flash carts in europe tbh...  Rob Webb (consolegoods.co.uk i think) is local for you, that may be an option as well if this doesn't pan out well for you,

we ship international though, and I know Justin (Thursday) does as well.  its rare there is a day i don't send several things to the UK now really.

Rob Webb though, at least googling that name + consolegoods will find the site.  from everything i've heard his customer service is good.

transformer may just be on a trip though, from what i recall he travels a bit...  may need to find an internet cafe tongue   (man...  what a vacation that would be... sans internet)

the black s/s looks so good, i'm really so glad you took it upon yourself to work that out!

your product photos are gorgeous.  what is your setup?  lights/etc...  taking decent looking product photos is something I struggle with, i've yet to find a consistent solution...

these look really nice!

love tie dye!  awesome!

for your rounder customers (me), make some larger sizes!

something to watch out for...  make sure you don't go past the time window for opening a dispute.  its something like 45 days from the date of purchase, or close to that maybe (i don't really know).  if you go a moment past the deadline you won't have any recourse, at all.  unless you do a chargeback which i doubt would work since you're in the UK.

was the image called 'the ship' when it was uploaded to 8bc?

if someone remembers the old directory structure at 8bc, like...  8bc.org/images/theship.png, maybe the wayback machine would have it stored.

i bet its 8bc.org/images/username/filename though, or something, still no help...
