what is it showing up as in your device manager?  an unknown device, or with an error, or what?

see if you can't just double click it there and explore it, although it should be showing up as a usb device, just like if you plugged in a memory card or something similar (along the left side in the device list in a standard explorer).

are you letting it sit for a little bit so it can be fully recognized?  or, plugging it in and unplugging it really soon out of frustration?

edit -- also, abrasive should be awake soon and can help with specifics wink

its driverless, it should show up as a usb device shortly

check instructions here: www.derpcart.com / http://store.kitsch-bent.com/product/dr … -cartridge (basically copy/pasted)

and, here:

instructions for use:

plug into the computer with a micro-USB cable
wait for the cart to appear as a new USB drive
to back up, drag the save contents and/or ROM off the drive
to program, drop new save and/or ROM files on to the drive
that's it, you can unplug and use the cart!

kdmg....  i like that wink

i'll have some soon (pre-owned), just waiting on news from someone about whether they still needed one of the parts,

shipping from us to europe isn't much at all, either

some of the fern gully music would be good covered (yes, seriously)

this is happening in rochester during the same time, it'd be worth checking out

not to derail the thread or anything, just thought maybe for the tourists/etc looking for something during the day

I like the panel-mount ones with the oversize nut, but I would only put them in a kitsch case. I did mine that way with ribbon cable and it's treated me right. smile

Those are exactly what I am looking for, as I don't want to use glue.

PM me with your shipping address, i have a kit i've got ready, i'd like one other person to test it out (if you are willing, that is).

send me the shipping address, and email, and i'll send it to you if you'll give me your feedback wink

the transformer is an issue with redesigning the power supply, unless you want to pull them.  its a weird design and uncommon specs, the MOQ is steep (already checked into this a bit)

no, thats part of the ROM itself, you can do that all the same
