I hit him up on this thread, with CM private messages, with a comment on his blogger, atleast 3 emails, messages on facebook, posts on facebook events he was part of, and now multiple tweets (made the account to holler at him). I'll give it a few more days but the dude is starting to look bad

he's one of the more stand-up people we've got in this scene...   *chill*  wink

and, also realize, many of us have real adult lives outside of this website/scene/whatever, i bet the delay has something to do with his real adult life rather than his desire to annoy anyone with being a little slow to respond wink

trading post area rules....  you can only have one FS thread going, you'll just need to reuse your one you've already started.  you can edit the title of the thread by editing the first post

wink

this ebay item is gone already, so imma close this thread.

just bump your already existing FS thread, thanks!

they are on ebay last time i heard anything, search for something generic like LSDJ or Nanoloop if you can't find it at first

compatibility with aboy hardware for input (instead of only the dpad/a/b/s/s buttons).  with some inventive routing one could compose with a proper controller and also route the keyboard's button presses (typing type, not musical) for directional control in the app.  up/down, start/select (with space bar), that sort of thing.

just a thought for alternative input.  i mean, there is a serial port sitting right there....   smile

i also like this idea, it'd be a really great instrument for people to play, or even the limited use as a way to jot down song ideas is really worth the effort to develop this.

can easily see this being everyone's resource in some way, and many people's primary instrument if there is enough control built in.

congrats!  very cool, cant wait for the other parts

for as many emails i get about the smartboy cart/flasher system.....

....... someone should snatch this up....   good opportunity, good price too.

LSDJ needs to be alone by itself in the menu it is in.

so if you're putting it in both menus (pretty common, this way it doesn't matter how it loads really), you'll have two LSDJ ROMs on the entire cart, one in each menu.

and nothing else.  generally, the EMS menu will appear and either be missing LSDJ from the list, or have LSDJ but none of the others.

http://store.kitsch-bent.com/ is your best bet. us based though, shipping's gonna be a ton.

international shipping really doesn't cost that much, unless the buyer wants it expedited or something.  standard rate is only $6.50 (currently)

you just didn't notice it was added in, the backlight carried the shipping even though the acekard didn't have it attached.  if you'd had ordered JUST the acekard, and not added shipping, i would have sent you a quick email, and easy fix.

glad it arrived in good shape!

did the ps/2 jack mount ok the way you have it?  that way i don't think you need to dremel down the case

in stalling it with the nut on the outside you've got to dremel a little bit.

have you tested it yet?  it work ok?

i haven't sent out the newsletter on them yet, i've got to edit that photo and do that.

yeah, the LOOMIS stuff is pretty amazing, i'm really happy to be doing stuff with him.  great guy.  and there is more on the way!

nah, the shipping isn't more.  the item is listed in the drop-down there because i don't want to give it its own product page, i'll not restock them and didn't have a large quanitity.

every item listed on that page is free of shipping charge, so without going back and adding the shipping back the shipping is left out.

i could have built the shipping into the price of the cart, but people like being able to choose the method/etc.

this seemed like the easiest way to do it, bigcartel is very limited in some important ways.
