one of the t-shirt designs shows someone holding the gameboy, not having it docked, perhaps an extension cable is intended to be included.
otherwise the t-shirt design would not be capable...

I just installed one the other day and it looks incredible but something weird has started to happen. When the DMG is first turned on everything looks great but when I hit the Start button to start LSDJ playback the contrast on the screen changes. When I hit Start again to stop the playback the contrast goes back to normal. This wouldn't be a problem except when the contrast changes the change is so extreme that I am unable to see anything without adjusting the contrast wheel. This is extremely annoying when writing, having to repeatedly change the contrast wheel.
Is this normal? If not what could I have done wrong?
make sure your batteries are fresh. there is a greater draw on them with this circuit added (same with adding any circuit really), so it may have taken the batteries you had over the threshold...
that'd be my first guess. there is no reason this should happen really. as long as you hooked everything up correctly. (to the point you can't see anything)
although, its not abnormal at all for this to happen when using LSDJ and starting playback. not really sure the exact reason for this tbh... but it does happen. the extremeness of your contrast change i would think might be batteries.
oh, i dont mind in the least.... looking forward to seeing all the stuff people decide to do.
*kitsch*-bent, after all...
The system is also capable of outputting to a TV in VGA 640×480. It came bundled with a hacked together Composite cable providing video and mono audio out. The TV cable plugs into the charging port. You can toggle between LCD and TV with * + Left, and switch between NTSC and PAL with * + Right. This is another function that initially wasn’t supported at all, was later supported but buggy and now works perfectly. The unit can be charged with an official GBA charger and takes the same battery as the official GBA SP. The speaker is louder than that of a real GBA SP and I’d be inclined to say that it’s marginally better too. Though the LCD will be tailored depending on each manufacturers requirements, it may be worth noting that the screen in my sample was very nice. Viewing angles are better than that of a GBA SP and the screen is way brighter and very crisp despite scaling the 240×160 image to the 320×240 display.
mono out, although this is a review of the prototype
these have been around for a while now, at least the prototypes have been floating around. gotten a lot of interest, the boot time is a little quicker from what i recall, don't remember if game runtime was altered as well.
russian clone, they've been putting out a lot in the last year or so, taking on the chinese clone monopoly a bit.
not totally sure, these are ones i couldn't get fixed easily so i stopped trying and am selling them as-is. could be really simple, could be an IC swap, dunno. all i know is they aren't working as they should atm.
the first step would be to check to make sure all the pins on the ICs were soldered down. after that, its anyones guess if that doesn't fix the issue. there are some common issues these have, i checked all the really easy to fix ones already though. like popped off resistors, etc...

You skipped over this one
the clear teal is pretty dark colored, its more green than blue.
there is like... maybe two sets left, so they'll be gone in a second anyways most likely for good. don't think i'll do that color again.
if you're interested at all grab a set now,
clear blue ones are a color i'll do again, probably shortly. i liked that color a whole lot.
cui inc.
think i'll order some of those too!
is it larger than a normal lsdj ROM?
well, whats the file size? i guess thats a better question... when compared to the original.
likewise. hoping there is still interest in supporting the app, use it all the time.
ok. my thread has been totally derailed.
if there needs to be a synthboy thread, you all can make one i had nothing to do with the project...
back to KB stuff. please.
yeah this is really good work
i have one called nanosynth, would that be it? it may just be a renamed rom though
