i did, i have one somewhere of me buried in boxes, i just can't remember where the pics are!  i took a bunch.  i had ~600 boxes at one point.  was insane, and very purple/pink.

i'll post pics if i can track them down...

oh.  i should mention then.....

ALL these cases are clear plastic, the slightly grey clear plastic common with GBC games.  the cases are all from the crappy Nsync GBC game, we had found a source back then to buy that game in bulk, it was cheaper to buy the lot for just the cases and toss the packaging, than get just cases in bulk.  strange.

it was really memorable to see hundreds of nsync games surrounding you.  they were everywhere when a shipment would arrive to me

it matters which era you got your bleepbloop cart in the way the cuts were done.

the earlier ones were entirely cut via cnc, there was no heat process for the usb hole.  i know because i found the place and arranged to have all the cases cut for jose and myself wink  drove them there myself.

he did switch to a heat method later, but it was entirely cnc in the beginning.  a three step process really, first the corner was cut out of the case as a whole, then the parts for the usb were cut out of each half of the case.

i have a whole big box of them leftover if you'd be interested in me getting a nice one out for you?  they are the exact same thing the bleepbloop carts came in, i just got ditched with a box of the cases pre-cut after i stopped carrying the product.

if you want one, or more, just let me know.  you can have as many as you want, at my cost (i can look it up pretty easily), that goes for anyone else really.  i have zero use for them, unless someday someone puts out a flashcart with the same cutouts.

not all of them have the usb port cut out, so i'll have to look through and find a nice one.

so, if anybody wants any of the bleepbloop-cut cases, PM me!  not a problem, i forgot about them really or would have mentioned earlier...

the cases that came with the carts were cut by a cnc machine

the next best thing would be a dremel i think.

i tried it on a window N50 5", looks and plays wonderful!

i could do peel-your-own pretty easily.  the weeding is the really time consuming thing.

are other people interested in this as well?

ok, update:

the last thing i hear, is the final mould revision is done, they'll have me two samples out this week or the beginning of next, once i confirm i'll have a larger sample order made.

i think i'll have some for blip, but am not entirely sure.  regardless i'll at least have a sample there.

i'm pretty anxious myself...

hey everybody!

new backlight, jeez.  well, not a big revision!  the PCB inside of LEDx3 has been updated, no need to cross the wires during installation, and the LEDs are spaced just a little differently.  a very tiny change, they install the same as the (vb) model.  black wire is ground, colored one is 5V wink

anyways, they can be found here: http://store.kitsch-bent.com/product/ledx3

they are the same price as (vb). not all the colors have gotten the (vc) upgrade, mainly the colors that had sold out (or nearly) in the (vb) model.  white, blue, green, and yellow.  both polarization types!

enjoy, and as always, keep chipping!

thanks!

places in the post-industrial world really shouldn't be on this list, its a real joke to see them here tbh.  they're a cakewalk compared to a lot of the world.  anywhere that starvation is an anomaly, there are no refugee camps, or you can probably go play a football game in a random field without risking your leg getting blown off is doing much better than the majority of this list.  not to even mention more horrible things.

unless this is about first-world neighborhoods.

anyone send off the info for the contest AND get a reply?

i used to make those, and stopped.  the manufacturing process sucks, its way too much work per sticker and the design is too complex for the auto-weeders the places i contacted had.  so, done by hand, its a real bitch.

although i get asked from time to time about these, i may make some sheets in a little bit.  still have the artwork and the permissions for it and whatnot (its altered a little to be able to be cut, otherwise its too detailed and the blade snags)

got my MA in PoliSci in december, its done all of shit for me.  so i'm either unemployed, or fully employed at kitsch-bent, depending on who you're asking...

i love most everything sci-fi (maybe everything?), recently got into airbrushing, am reading a R. Scott Bakker book, planted a big garden this year, am not a statist, have kaiju staring at me around the room right now, don't drink, love the mountains, hate driving on the interstate.

just found out i don't really dislike cats so much...  just got a kitten!  half bengal, half something else.  super sweet, and very wild.

orchids, shouldn't forget those.  i grow a whole bunch of orchids, all different types.

in two days i think i'll find out if the deal with me is arthritis or not!

my lsdj hoodie arrived today.

black on black, its pretty nice.  very pleased wink  its so soft, and pretty warm for not being really super thick.  surprising, when i first opened it i thought it may breath a little too much.
