no problem whatsoever, its not that difficult really.  well, with server space already established and such, i mean.

i can also just give you your own access to the specific part so you can upload and organize things as you see fit and have a simple text interface.  or, full on graphics.

anyways, we'll sort this out to make it work for you, feel free to get in touch any time!  matt (aatt) kitsch-bent (ddoott) com

if you need any hosting if you go that route, let me know, i'd be happy to set up a subdomain or whatever you'd need.  certainly have the space.

but, there is github or some such of course, naturally

finding time to give to projects, no matter how much you enjoy them, is really a hassle.  totally sympathize for you... it can be a real downer

a whole lot of people use kunaki

http://kunaki.com/

i've got a bunch of the original white ones if you just want to cover shipping on it

just email me (don't PM here, its full and i won't get it atm).  let me know your address and i'll let you know in the morning what that is, you can just paypal for the shipping.  its fully intact, you can mod it (or not) to suit your needs

if interested, i have them new here:

http://store.kitsch-bent.com/product/plastic-lcd-frame

in clear plastic only atm, haven't gotten around to other colors yet

glad to see it back in a shell.  the one part PCB was a clever idea, though, but not quite stable enough

i'd need to check to see if he's added ROM read/write support to the app.  the version i have installed does not, but my tablet battery died so i'll see if there is an update later when i charge it again.  i know the dev is intending on this, but have no clue the success as of yet

i'm just down in NC it should arrive to CT by then (i got your email i believe, just haven't woken up enough to start replying to them today yet)

shouldn't be an issue, if you are concerned about it just choose the priority shipping method at checkout.

there is no telling what will happen with the weather, but the nifty thing about the USPS is they are more-or-less bound to stay out in whatever type of weather and the other shipping companies more easily call the trucks back in.  UPS/FedEx/DHL just started back up here today

^ thanks for posting the app!  from the feedback i've gotten from people using it (and myself once) it works pretty great.  very convenient for on-the-road backups and such

yeah, that isn't a bad idea at all!  i should just make a generic 'batteries' product page perhaps, and do that for other common types too

thanks jazz!

i think you're right.  its that, or 2025 or something.  one of the very common ones

i should really commit that to memory tongue

Pull out the battery and read what kind it is, then go to any grocery and grab a new one.

^ this.  or a walgreens, CVS, or any place with coin cell batteries.  whatever is closest, i forget the # off the top of my head but they are very common

the 32M types have solder tabs on them, which you don't need

lol.  lernkomputer.  i have one of those guys...  they are sort of cool, but look much better than how they actually function.  incredibly simple.  its somewhat like playing a sesame street 'my first keyboard' or something like this.  nothing amazeballs, at all.  just a nice little faux laptop case (someone clever could do the same with DMG guts, pretty easily apart from the housing), and it'd be better

got mine in the mail the other day!  haven't had a chance to use it yet, but just wanted to comment that its quite cosmetically pleasing smile  can't wait to get back home and give it a go!  perfect for throwing (rather, gently placing) in a bag on the go
