Well one thing you could try: listen to some new music and find something that you like, rather than listening to the stuff you already have in your library. Better if it's outside of the genres you usually listen to. See if this new music inspires you in some way.

Any more footage of the open mic? I love watching myself be nervous.

I wasn't able to get footage of anyone else, my friend was recording and there was only a few minutes left on the memory card. Sorry about that sad I know there were some high quality cameras up front so I'm sure there's better footage to be had.

wtf.

Got a video up of my song. I had just finished this before 8static so this was the first time I played it.

I just want to say that this was such an amazing 8static, so much good music, a huge crowd, and rapping, breakdancing, etc... I had a great time.

So like, if I wanna sneak a drink, I just gotta do it before I come inside?

backup your fucking backups with other backups

This is so timely considering the photo of a backup connected to a backup that was posted recently.

yo can i get that flashlight action too?
or does anyone have some ideas for lighting up my set? otherwise i can't see the gameboys tongue

Maybe 8static should just keep one of these on reserve.

I know it sounds like a joke but the last time I was there, someone couldn't do the open mic because the backlight on their gameboy wasn't working.

i still need sheet music to get through it! lets hope I can read in the dark

I will bring a flashlight for you and stand by your side and illuminate that sheet music... you just say the word.

You should update the title to reflect that you recovered your songs, you had me worried!

chiptunes mean raves and raves mean drugs so no. Does Studio 34 have any alternate exits?

Brands running record labels is nothing new... Scion has been doing it for a long time, and Mountain Dew is in it too... there are a bunch of others. They are great for promoting up-and-coming indie acts. But I definitely think $500 of crap food for letting a company use you to promote their brand is lame... I know musicians are poor but there are better ways to make money.

Pretend to use live mode, but don't actually do it. That way you can't stuff it up.

Yeah so the DSi has this music player application, you can just load up your songs as AAC files and hit play... yeah...
