I have plenty of original DMG greyboy shells. I'm in australia though so you'd have to take shipping into consideration (it's usually about $12 to the U.S.).
I'll part ways with one for $10 plus shipping if you like. Let me know if you're interested.
Hey guys, i just found a cart on ebay that i've never seen before. Obviously some shitty unlicensed videogame. It seems to be the overseas derivative of "Magic Lamp".
Here it is! What made me buy it was the fact that it has a notch in the top right corner (for original DMGs).
What other strange carts have you come across?
(Apart from those featured on This Site)

Australia's shit for that kind of thing. I'll have to check out somewhere online to get stickers ordered in bulk.
I may even consider selling them separately.. I might throw some designs together tonight!

Or aftermarket like this?
Preferably the same as the original, although any will suffice! Carts without stickers suck!
Anyone have a clue where i'd get ahold of some aftermarket gameboy cartridge stickers? I'm talking like originals - Pokemon (red, blue, yellow) and others like that.
Surely somewhere would stock them? If not... it needs to be done! The stickers are roughly 37mm x 42mm.
Any ideas?
Read the first few posts on here but got lazy. Have a read through - might come across something?

Depends how small you need it to be. What you're after is a momentary switch. Any SPST momentary switches should work. What is your project - may i ask?

Each Gameboy is $85 shipped in the US via Paypal. Priority shipping.
In regards to the Peter mod, you can get rid of it with a scourer and some eucalyptus oil! (Or sandpaper works amazingly too!).
Those seamless 1/8" jacks are beautiful!

Ooh it's pretty!
Just a question though - why the "no international shipping"? I've never quite understood that, although i see it often!
In Australia i've been selling them for $35 a pop. People froth over the nostalgic value here! There's barely any (close to zero) retail shops that sell original DMGs (in Queensland atleast) so it's hard to value them. I've sold them for as much as $55!
That's not even to mention modded ones!

No need to get antsy. This isn't the kind of place to be an asshole.
Peterc165 wrote:I have KiGB for mac and it works great. I've just had no luck via settings and google finding where it saves the game files. The saves do work, I just double click the rom and the game picks up where I left off like a real gameboy. The reason I ask is because I got an emulator for my phone as well and want to play from the same save file on my phone. So any clues would be greatly appreciated!
But yeah, remember to look around a bit before posting things. We've all made the same mistakes!
The forum's search function is fucking amazing! Other forum searches scared me away but this one is pretty!
As you can see, i'm not low on them at all I'm fairly certain i could put them in a normal envelope so shipping wouldn't be more than $2.50 or something.
I have plenty of spare DMG screws. I could hit you up with a full replacement set (both x and y screws).
Thing is that i live in australia. Postage wouldn't be much to CA. PM me if you'd like.
Apeshit wrote:Why wouldn't it fit in a standard case? Is the cart actually considerably different dimensions?
The cart has a much larger headpiece (thicker than the EMS carts from what i can tell) - This is for the accelerometer that's built into the cart.
I'm still waiting on mine to arrive in the mail but i'm planning on posting a tutorial. The majoe difference is that the cart has two screws (as opposed to the single one that most gameboy carts have). That means i'm going to have to dremel bits of LSDJ cart's PCB in order to fit it in the cartridge housing!
