A 6 track ep. All tracks are lsdj with some light compression, eq, and reverb on the last track. Thanks for listening.

I'll be releasing a small ep of lsdj stuff on the 8th if all goes as planned. Preview can be found here: https://soundcloud.com/mostlytoast1/ep-preview
I've got a front pcb with a desoldered screen, I can take pics or scans of the pcb.
This project isn't dead. It just took a little longer than expected because life got in the way. The first rendition is finished. I'm not completely happy with it but it turned out fairly well. Everything is currently set up for full stereo but I accidentally purchased mono 3.5mm jacks. Also, I suck at drilling so some of the holes are off center. Current version has 3 ins, an aux send, and a headphone out. The aux send can be patched back into one of the inputs for fx. It runs on two 9v batteries but I could easily add a dc in. I don't think I'll be selling any anytime soon because I don't feel comfortable putting these out until I'm 100% happy with the design and I'm in the middle of moving so I don't have time to be assembling mixers.

Put me down for one.
A higher quality switch won't have as much noise/resistance which lowers the chance of a crash when switching between clock speeds.
Pics are really helpful.
Or you could just use the old jack that's in the gameboy and still bypass the amp. This tut goes into more detail: http://lowgain-audio.com/GBclassicmod.htm
Not entirely sure what you mean but I'm assuming you are trying to boot up the second game. You have to shut the gameboy off and turn it back on quickly to switch to page 2 on the cart.
Unfortunately piggy on psp doesn't support midi.
Yeah, not sure if I'll do faders and whutnot. The cost to make these would go up quite a bit and I would rather keep the design simple and have one less thing that could fail. Maybe if this project goes well I'll add more things in the future but I'd rather focus on the now. I was mainly looking for how many inputs would be needed and whether people prefer dc in or 9v batteries. I do plan to build at least one for myself but whether I sell this design is another story. The first one should be finished in January if everything goes well.
@kineticturtle: Thanks for the great ideas however, balanced XLR outputs and aux sends feel overkill for this project. I may add this but don't count on it.
@sandneil: That ART mixer looks really similar to what my goal for this project was.
@sxe_weekend: I suppose diy kits would be possible but I would have to have PCBs printed, otherwise I would just be sending out bags of parts. Not sure if I can afford that at the moment because most places that print PCBs require you order them in large quantities.
Thanks everyone for showing interest in this.
Thanks for the warning. This isn't official yet, more of a discussion to see if it's worth investing time and money into. I have a lot of testing to do and I'm not sure how these will turn out. I don't intend on selling them if they aren't durable and/or have good sound quality. I intend to use an opa2134 for the op amp and polyester film box caps for anything that sound will pass through. Sound quality shouldn't be an issue but that is part of the reason I still need to do testing and actually build one of these.
Here is the the original mock up and a dmg shell for scale. I could also post the current schematics but its basically a cmoy amp with multiple inputs.
crossfaders?
Do you mean for left right panning or for fading between the inputs. I could do either, or both. I'd have to start looking at other enclosures though.
If there is enough interest I may start building some mixers. After looking at many mixers and their features I have come to realize that there really isn't a cheap, small, active mixer available. There are the Behringer Xenyx mixers that I have seen mentioned on these forums from time to time but there inputs are weird and require a stereo to mono splitter for use with stereo devices. So what I'm wondering is if the community would be interested in something similar that would be smaller and cheaper while having a similar amount of inputs.
I haven't actually built one yet but I am almost certain I could get about 3-4 stereo inputs (1/8 in. jacks) with volume control into a metal enclosure that is about the size of a gameboy. Are there any features that anyone would be interested in having added to the design? Should I change the amount of inputs? Do people prefer 1/4 in, 1/8 in, or rca inputs/outputs? Should there be more than 1 output? Would you guys prefer it to be powered by 1-2 9v batteries (depending on the op amp) or a dc input. I'm really just wondering what people are looking for in a mixer. I can't add too many features as that would require a larger enclosure and increase costs.
I may start building some in January if enough people show interest. I'm not doing this to make large amounts of profit as I am hoping to charge less than the price of a xenyx 502 ($45) but I can't confirm a price at the moment. I'm going to guess that I could probably charge about $35-$40 + shipping for a 4 channel active mixer. I'm not looking to build custom mixers for people as I hope to cut costs by ordering parts in mass quantities. I can't build large amounts of these mixers at the moment as I don't have large amounts of money to spend. I may post a design mock up with measurements tonight or tomorrow.
You can leave a comment here or pm if you have questions/suggestions.
TL:DR - I might build some small 4 channel active mixers for around $35-$40 if enough people are interested. There is no guarantee that this will happen and I can't promise anything.
I meant formatting my post. The text is sort of all over the place.
Got bored and started messing with notepad++ I might try audacity later. This is super fun though.
This one is bent and then the saturation/hue was adjusted. Not sure how I got the pixelated ghosting. I guess that's the fun in it, never know what might happen.
Also bent my dog.
And a curly fry from arby's.
The last two had some more edits in them than the first. I did some overlays and some recoloring. I'm pretty bad at this but whatever.
how to format plz help...
