The Lynx is certainly fun to work with Tim!  I wish I'd brought it to Europe so I could have showed you it in action.  Alas, It was one of the things which was too heavy to pack :-P  (greets from AU btw, pass my g'days onto all the Utrecht crew!)

I'll just have to come visit to play with it then big_smile

Hey, don't joke. wink

I have sitting next to me my (First version) Lynx which I was playing today, 6 fresh AA's, Chips Challenge and Bill & Teds Excellent Adventure.

Need to get round to installing another DC Jack though, as it's been broken since I was a kid....

No but seriously, I saw a topic a while back about a Lynx tracker/music program. And that machine has some serious basslines...

Short answer: no.

Long answer: if you are a soldering guru, you could take out the LCD of another front panel, peel of the back, solder it to the current pcb (which is nearly impossible, but it can be done if really handy.) and install the backlight.

Easier is to just remove it in a new pcb, since you need one anyway.

So, I'd skip the trouble of switching lcd's if you can just put the backlight in another front panel.

Nice going there!
I like the glitch at the end of real talk Mario.

If you do lsdj carts, be sure to get the latest version of littleFM added, so you can transfer saves with a link cable.

Also, people should still pay for an lsdj license of course smile

No but seriously. This sounds great!
Any idea about how the shell looks?

And for how long will this offer stand?

Hello,

One million lsdj carts please.

Oh crap.. I completely missed the arduinoboy part tongue
I thought it was just a new lsdj version!

Yay. I'm slow in the brain!

Thanks for all the info!

Yeah, I said eprom. Because I didn't even know the difference between eprom and eeprom.

I don't mind messing with a parallel port, if it saves me 50 bucks tho tongue
