And there is no chance to trim the connector? I wasn't sure if the blocking mechanism was on the connector or on the DS shell.

Just read through your blog. Very nice work. Thank you for relentlessly documenting everything.

Any tips for someone interested in this on where to start?

INterested in obtaining a programmer? Would you like to purchase one or would you like to prototype one for yourself?

If we do these boards again guys, I will probably look into a different cart connector. I was alerted of a GBA replacement which is surface mounted and commercially available so no more donor-boys.

I would need to buy one first before making an eagle library though. I hope they are able to hold a GB cart snug.

I made these for mGB carts but they will of course work with any game up to the capacity.

The speed of a song is your deciding. If you are unsure; however, add a sped up verse somewhere in the middle.
I would be more worried about the volume. Was it recorded into a mic rather than through your prosound?

I thought about the song being faster and didn't like it, but again, my opinion is worthless in this respect because I didn't write it.

Its bed time right now, but I have been working on an extensive tutorial for the two people who ordered blank boards rather than completes. It covers everything from ICs to through-hole components to programming your FT232 eeprom and finally the 8515. I have learned a lot from this project and have had even more fun doing it. For those of you who ordered complete boards, I ask that you still read my post to see what kind of work went into the boards:

I have only a few more to program and then they will ship. Again, GET EXCITE. big_smile

I look forward to our next board printing, whatever it may be.

No way? His YouTube channel hadn't been active in over a year. That is good news!

It would help if you mentioned a suspected system. MMO must be PC, right?

I don't know what game you are looking for, but I like your thread, so I too would like to ask others about a game I don't remember the name of.

This game was for the original NES.

This game was laid out like a 1941 where the background scrolls down and you were a person with eagle wings and you would fly through these crazy alien worlds and shoot at all these crazy enemies and you would get weapons upgrades quite often and you could blast the crap out of everything.
Anyway, I would love to hear that games soundtrack again, because I still sing it to myself all the time....
Thank you anyone.

there are a load of excellent top-down Schmups, but the "wings" part limits that:
Look up Legendary Wings. I can also think of Dragon Strike, but you would have remembered Dragons.

If by wings, you meant jet wings, try:
Crisis Force
Lunar Jetman

then again, you could look thorugh all of the shooters:
