finally got some SN76489 chips in the post! Breadboarded up this badboy.
My only issue so far is the tuning is out. I'm using a 1.8Mhz osc but everything is a good step and a half out.
Would it be easier to mess with the pitch tables or look for a different oscillator?

At the last gig I organised the local station S4C caught wind and came and filmed a bunch of stuff. Which was pretty cool.
It's on the channels catch up service here: http://www.s4c.co.uk/clic/e_level2.shtm … =508551781

Be warned, its in Welsh, you need to click the english subtitles on. Also if you are not in the UK you'll need a proxy or something.

Pretty neat though and while it was very much a 5 min overview of what we were up to, every little helps spread the chip word!
Footage is mostly of Tommy Creep and myself (Alone). They couldn't use any sound due to copyright issues sad Still!
Need to find more Wales based artists too so we can party more wink

If there are no shows. put on shows.
Talk and promote in real life rather than just online.
live the dream.

damn, you're coding faster than the post around here!

I got the crystals from RS Online Uk, and sourced the SN chips from eBay... Though I may purchase some more with Little-Scales noted failure rate!
Oddly I couldn't find one supplier of Teensy boards in the UK.

Depreciation Guild and Pixelh8 were the two that stood out to me. (both sadly too.. love both of em..)

wow.. thats sure grown..
Just a thought but an 'active' or 'inactive' field may be useful as I saw a few artists I know are no longer in the bizz.

Does it matter how much of a "fresh fish" one is to the scene? ^^;

I'm gunna second this question. I want to add myself, but apart from the fact that I have a feeling I'd end up messing it up somehow, I'm also not sure if I qualify to go on the list.

I'd say go for it, as long as you have the links and fill the fields like everyone else.. its hard to go wrong with Google sheets, though a google form that inputs to it may make things a little easier for people intimidated by data.

As for organising the form, just click on the tops of column and you can sort by A - Z or Z to A...

loving it heart

Great idea.. I have scraps of paper with this kinda thing scribbled on.. but then I lose them..
