Final bump. I have researched, and this may be the first Chip/retro party in Wales. In Cardiff at least. and the first time Mega Ran has played here.
Hell yes I say. Can't wait.

When I'm bored/sad/in the mood I like to write instrumental pop rock, with the aim of one day joining Paramore/a Paramore tribute band/a band that sounds like Paramore.

sup guys,
I've got a mint condition GBA with box and case for sale.
pic:

never used really.
£12 + £3 postage

I also have an old Line 6 Guitar Port
pic:
I have no idea where the driver disc is, its been in storage for a good few years. Would make a perfect 'my first interface' as it was for me. Just want it to go to a good home rather than the trash.

£5 with postage

add £3 if you are in Europe, US or basically anywhere that isn't the UK.
pop me a PM if interested.

Laters guys.

My job title is 'Circuit Rider'
It's not a fun as it should be from that title, but I still enjoy it, essentially supporting third sector organisations make better use of ICT.

Come one, come all to Cardiff's first Retro Party!
www.whatthemath.com and Public Therapy present an evening of retro/chiptune/hip hop delights headlined by the one and only Mega Ran (www.megaran.com) in his first visit to Wales.

Supporting him are a fleet of fine local(ish) chip artists with Post-rock meets NES Alone, Trip Hop beats from Kinetic Monkey and ghoulish horrorchip from Tommy Creep. We also have a live performance of classic VGM from the Happy Fun Time Game Band (phew).
rounding out the night is off the cuff beatboxed freestyle from Beat Spoke and a slew of retro consoles and game for fun times. One night only!

April 29th
Upstairs in 10 Feet Tall, Cardiff, 7pm til late

Tickets can now be bought online: http://cardiffretroparty.eventbrite.co.uk/
Only £4 ( £5 on the door)

how can I make this have UK dates?

every time I see one of these threads I think "where the hell is the Chip Maestro cart?"

thanks guys!

Howdy y'all.. I've got an event coming up at the end of April (29th) and I'm looking for a couple of extra acts who might want to play some live chip music in Cardiff. I'm really excited about the line up so far (keeping it hush hush for a while while I sort the finer details) Ideally if you are local that would be awesome, but if you fancy coming from further afield, I'm sure we can work something out.
If you are interested shoot me a message!
(ps if I've posted this in the wrong place.. sorry)

Hey Everyone!

Are there any promoters in London interested in setting up an show in May/June 2013?

Thank you!

Would you guys be interested in a gig in Cardiff, Wales? Its not London.. but its still pretty neat.

^ donated... there isn't much here in wales / south west UK. would love to do more gigs further afield! The music scene in Cardiff is pretty diverse though, which means I basically play where-ever will have me... Wife and I have been talking about putting on a chip night like forever...

I charged everything, yet a GBA still ran out of batteries. All I remember was shouting "Can I have the emergency Game Boy to the stage Please!?"
To which my backup arrived and I was off again.
I also tried to use visuals.. bad move. Everything else went okay though!

Howdy y'all, I'm bringing my NES + GBA + Delay + guitar post rock-ish derps to Swn Festival in Cardiff tomorrow night (20th Oct) at the Moon Club. tis £10 on the door or free to festival pass holders.
Well excited.
