I also found this: http://chipmusic.org/forums/topic/1779/ … m-in-lsdj/ I'm using it now and it sound a hell of a lot like what TREY FREY does.

I'VE BEEN TRYING TO FIND THIS FOR AGES. I USED TO USE THIS ALOT BEFORE I LOST MY FILES AND QUIT CHIPTUNES FOR A PERIOD. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

That is the worst "8 bit" midi "cover" I've heard yet...

what happened to doing it because you like it? you dont need anyone's permission.

Right? I mean don't get me wrong, I'd like to play for people and all. Nobody is stopping me from playing live though. Heck, I can just plug up some speaks on the street.

Searching "moral codec faliure" gives this exact general discussion page as a result...so that isn't a good way to get an idea of what to draw haha.

It would be *REALLY* cool to have some arduinoboy implementation to slave the arp speed to a midi clock :3  Or lsdj/nanoloop for that matter.

Also I'd like to say that I usually have no problem with chiptune's connection to video games and do not often care if people associate chipmusic as "video game music". But I do not think gamergate is relevant to the scene and I do not think this is the proper fourm to discuss it on.

I think that gamergate has mostly lost whatever it started out to be, and the people who are truly worried about transparency in games journalism should still fight for that, but also take a look around at those claiming to be on their side and speak up about their rampant and often terrifying misogyny.

It's an OP-1.
It's drool worthy because it's a very nice & fun ultra portable synth.

How does the OP-1 interact with your gameboy? Is it just effects and filtering or?

To my knowledge you can record the sound from the Gameboy straight into the OP and do some crazy stuff on it. Pretty cool. I really want one.

Dude, wow! I remember seeing the track Luna pop up on here awhile ago and being blown away. Excited that you were able to put out this many tracks so fast.

Fucking siiiiick.

Alright thanks guys! smile I'll take this as I am headed in the right direction.

Thanks man! Glad you liked it. Is there anything that stood out to you though? Good or bad.

I recently entered into my first compilation album ever. The Kitten Paw Compo #3 and was wanting some cronstructive criticism on my track off there. The compilation is here : https://kittenpawrecordings.bandcamp.co … po-issue-3 and my track is also on my soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/kawaiikyle/kawai … -compo-mix thanks in advance. smile

I used to leave behind cool pixel art on graphing calculators for the next class to find. It should be said I almost failed that year lol.

I hope my entry is dark and grimy enough...if not I'm ok with being the more upbeat track.
