well thats the thing, you don't just want the paint to adhere, you want a paint that will dye the plastic / soak into it a bit. stuff like rit dye or spray paints that specifically say they bond to plastic are the best way to go

non sarcastic reply: these paints probably arent meant to bond to plastic. if the paint doesnt end up on your fingers, gig bag, etc, it will most likely feel terrible and flake off eventually

no i'm pretty sure the paint has a battery life of 12 hours, and after you paint it it just falls off, right? so you can paint it again?

when i made a dmg talkbox, i just plugged the gameboy into a smokey amp (http://www.smokeyamps.com/), and did the rest from there.

all you need is to get the sound into a tube, into your mouth. everything else is up to you, but you definitely dont have to mount a bigger speaker on a gameboy.
