i think a big problem is that a lot of people are more interested in being musicians than writing music, you know what i mean

thank you for guidelines on how to make my music interesting

turn your big loud thumpy percussion up to almost maximum volume and turn EVERYTHING else down a bit

you can crank the master volume up, post production, with mml, i'm assuming?

i dunno about that, but it's really easy to alter volume macros by putting +/-X after the numbers in brackets.

ITT egr shows off

Yeah definitely sample. Otherwise best case scenario is that you will be the only person that think it sounds like an orchestra hit.

i still don't understand how any one can write dubstep for more than 30 seconds

I've tried about 5 times before in lsdj, blinked and ended up having created some kind of electro-house shit instead.

i don't even mean figuring out the instruments in LSDJ, i mean 30 seconds of written dubstep is too much for me. it get so boring and repetitive so fast.

nah, MML gets super quick once you learn it.

No, MML is better. NSF doesn't exist in NES games, it's just what people created for the music code ripped out of them.

no, it won't stretch an envelope out to fit the default note length.

as far as I've been told you can't just put an .nsf into a nes game. you'd probably need to learn MML and write something that takes up the exact amount of space as what you're replacing

I guess good luck with getting a copy of midines

it's specifically a problem with shutting it off while LSDJ is playing, i think

Woah woah, I didn't write this. Must've been my roommate Jack screwing around while I was in the shower.
