Topic: Gem Tos - Der Carla (0 replies, posted in Releases)
This is one of the latest releases on Data Airlines this summer: A new 4track EP by Gem Tos produced by yours truly. There are Atari STs, Moogs, Drums and an angry Gem Tos and the result is some sort of chiptune EBM in italian/french. If you are into DAF & Nitzer Ebb and like chiptunes you might want to check this out. Link is here *click click click*

have you tried to ask gwem to implement it? sometimes it takes a few hours, sometimes a few years but in the end gwem seems to add all the crazy features we ask him for.

Why does it happen so often to the demoscene/chipmusic scene to get ripped off and not to other genres? Is it the geek/nolife factor?

wow, another FFF-scenario, yay... but ffs most of you are just as much 8bit posers as this poor girl (just look at your handles and cover-art ^_^) the purity-discussion was done with in 1998 so why dont you kids go and make some quality ziks instead of crying and whining about who's livePA is the most real?
with that said, I think this girl has a really cool accent, she should do some 8bit grime instead of vocoderpop on (stolen) cheesy chiptewns....

Re: Wired Magazine Chiptune Reference (44 replies, posted in General Discussion)
EDIT2: Did some reading. Found out Wired is owned and operated by Condé Nast, which in turn is owned and operated by Advance Publications, one of the largest publishing houses in the world and the 46th largest corporation in the world. They in turn are connected to a vast network of media companies, including the Discovery Network. Isn't it all interesting?
So wired is a part of a world wide conspiricy, a consiricy that at the moment has decided to milk money from a chip scene?. Nice aluminium foil cap you got there sir.
For your info, wired wrote about chipmusic back in 2007 and has been mentioning it and reviewing releases ever since. Whats the fuss?

now they added "featuring dubmood" on the track. I thought featuring is when you do a colaboration with someone. not when you take a 10 year old chiptune, burp in south african dutch on it and put it on the net.
wait, its a really good idea.
upcomming, dubmood featuring Rolling stones & daft punk. bbl

my songs is not under any web2.0 licence (with a few exceptions when this has been enforced by weblabels). Pure oldschool copyright by creation license.
and I never gave this guys permission, I didnt even answer their email, since theese boer kids (read uber-nationalists) are obviously having their little 15minutes of fame that will bring them some green, ill guess I have to do something about it. I mean, I would usually dont mind but this is like the inbreed dutch remix of Fitts for fight.
