Best off using a GameCube with a Gameboy Player or a Super Gameboy for the SNES. Currently, there are few devices for the GBA still floating around, and TV-out from GBC and earlier models doesn't seem possible with third party hardware.

Also, be aware that the different duty cycles have different "apparent" amplitudes while you have a static envelope, so keep that in mind when working with the rhythmic side of things wink

I wish you had posted this sooner. In the Birmingham area, would totally have made time to drive up if I knew about this sooner hmm

Myself and I guess technically another person but that is besides the point. I forgot to tell Jazz about what happened to the stuff I was gonna a send him (girlfriend threw it out mid-move with some busted up computers) and I had already been dragging my feet about mailing it since the nearest post office is not near me at all hmm

These are going to be sick with the Synthboy+ and the GBLFO from NeX set in Master LSDJ mode!

Or an Arduinoboy (or maybe USB Boy), which people in this scene actually use.

He is speaking about using LSDJ to control other software via LSDJ MIDI OUT. Be sure to grab the 4.7.3 version of it.

From what I have tried, LSDJ is not a good controller for Traktor. It works, yes, but it is not remotely ideal. Especially since the communication for the game boy is serial, and consequently not bi-directional. This makes things like tempo sync difficult (for now!). But with the right hardware (similar to FaMIDI works) a basic Traitor homebrew with tempo sync to the Gameboy WOULD be feasible.

The folks who designed the mod knew little to nothing of how MBC and RAM size affected compatibility. iirc Shantae seems to be a good host as well. Give it a shot? Seems to be suitable to work with Pokemon Crystal.

Well, the reason I say this is the controller port has its own unique non-littlescale PSB with MIDI port installed... Would love to know where it came from considering littlescale never made such a thing (I believe)...

Sorry, what I said was in reference to the eBay GenMDM's. I strongly suspect they are clones.

From a hardware standpoint, it is entirely possible to dump the ROM from the original cart, rip the code from the Teensy, and make repros. I know this because one person (Matt Payne?) Made a Nomad-friendly controller dongle himself.

Would you consider Mega CD expansion, where PCM WAV files could be burned to a disk (as well as YM2612 synth patches?). Would be awesome if we could get library support. I have a few good buddies of mine (Lazlopsylus, you may have seen him on SM) are on the forefront of Mode 1 and Mode 2 Mega CD utility.
