This almost looks like a licensed game! You've done a very professionnal work!
But, one thing is bothering me. Actually, I don't know how can you change it, but the used space on the Screen is quite small during "gameplay".

Oh, and also, why does the score system isn't just " rounds survived: XX" instead of numbers with so much zeros?

Thank you! The blank space has always bothered me. But it does have a purpose other than the revolver chamber spinning, but I'd rather not spoil it.

As for the score, I was just following what early '80s games did.

is this the same one Batsly Adams worked on and Heosphoros did some of the sound for?

How many NES Russian Roulette games are there? I only know of this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9C65TiSOzro And mine's not even an NES homebrew; it's a PC game.

I love it!

A little bug, the hammer of the revolver doesn't impact the chamber when it is shooting to the player on the right.

I can't believe I didn't notice this. hmm I'll fix this in 1.1, but I'll wait to see if anyone finds any other bugs.

Merry Chirstmas!

I was able to replace the broken/missing bear from season's past:

I was going to make a video of it, but my mom said the lights on the tree aren't compatible with it or something'. hmm Should I be worried about voltage issues? http://www.amazon.com/Avon-Again-Musica … dp_product

Okay, the Winamp plugin was working the entire time, but for some reason that awesome Rising Blue track was crashing it. After compressing it to .vgz it works fine.

I wish I had known about this VGM update sooner. Being able to mute tracks is really useful.

Now I just gotta get used to Deflemask's interface.

Oh, good--now it won't play at all. sad VGMPlay works fine though. That Rising Blue Lightning track is a killer!

I'll reinstall in_vgm when I get back from work.

Really? Which player/plugin are you using?

I checked out some of the modules. They sound great!

The problem with VGM, if I'm not mistaken, is that it doesn't log any of the PCM channels. Am I right?

Circuit Bent NES Zapper

Thought you might find this interesting.

What?! No one?

AudioOverload
SNESAmp (Winamp plugin)
SNES SPC700 Player (no wav output)

You, sir, are a godsend.

How many channels does the SEGA PCM soundchip have? (please be at least one! tongue)

Are these logged as .VGM files?

If you really want one, get one o' them Japanese folk to get one and ship it for you. (They're still for sale, but can't be gotten as "easily". It's even harder now as only TNS is selling them).

Nope, he tried (my friend from Japan). He said they were discontinued for a newer model (which doesn't take YMZ294 chips for some reason). We'll see what's up though.

Either way, I'm stuck with these chips. I guess I'll just chuck them at some homeless guy. Maybe he could sell them for some dough.

-Moryou Senki Madara (VRC6)
-Youkai Douchuuki (Namco CUS163)
-YMZ294 (Gimmick!-compatible sound source)
-Castlevania 3 (US version, modified for MMC5 sound output)

I'm jealous. I bought a couple YMZ294s, but the TNS boards were all out of stock. Now what am I gonna do with 'em?

Has the deadline passed for this already? If not, when should they be submitted by?

Okay, you guys, I was hoping for some first-hand knowledge of similar models or the like. A product description from the manufacturer's website, okay... that's helpful, but it isn't going to mention what sucks about the product. For example, I found that there isn't touch sensitivity... at all... if I'm not mistaken. Seriously? What's up with that?

And lmgtfy is neither funny, clever, insightful, nor as effective as directly posting a search that I already did. I know how the internet works. I've been using it for 15 years. You should be ashamed. Go stand in the corner. Any corner. The nearest one you can find.

eh, looks like just a basic little learning keyboard. they can definitely still have a few good presets on them, but in the end the lack of ability to edit any of the presets usually makes this sort of keyboard pretty limited in its usefulness ... i find they usually will have 4-8 decent sounding presets though, so hopefully you like some of them. if not, you could always try circuit bending it

You mean like the ability to add vibrato? Or like an oscillator? I'm not keen on making my own instruments--I'm new to keyboards myself. But I am fond of the idea of using a MIDI interface device. <- did I even say that right? hmm

So, at work, I was passing by someone's house, and saw that they left a Yamaha keyboard on their lawn, next to their mailbox. I went to the door and asked if they were selling it. The woman said they were giving it away. I asked if I could have it, and she said yes. I was stoked...

So I brought it home, cleaned it up a bit, put in some batteries, and it works! It's a PSR-175.

Anyone know much about this model? It doesn't come with any cables (no power adapter).
