Trying to get a track finished off for this.
Recording to be done and my guitarist's being all elusive and shit though... hmm

A great little site.

Ran across this a while back when investigating old video mixers and the 'dirty video mixer', almost inspired me to do some video circuit bending, damn you apathy.
Really tempted to have a go at my AVE-5, but I've no replacement if it goes wrong. sad

Gamepak presents yet another night of unadulterated 8-bit & videogame-inspired mayhem up in the Mezz, with heavyweight guest performer BASECK (Subconscious Communications/ Darkmatter Soundsystem) all the ways from L.A. with his Gameboy Thrashin' Turntable Bangin' tour. Also part of L.A. chipcore duo Sonic Death Rabbit, expect gameboy mangling and turntable abusing of the highest order from Baseck's first Irish show, combining chiptune, turntablism, breakcore, hardcore, metal, noise, ambient & drum & bass in what's been called "a beautifully fucked collage of sound"!

Gamepak is also delighted to have along local bassmusic duo Subversus (SubVersion Recordings), which consists of dubstep & jungle DJ/producer, Electronic Resistance founder and Radio na Life clinician Welfare, along with dubstep production supremo Shatterfreak. The pair have been slaying venues round Ireland with some serious bass rumbles of late, and have brewed up an exclusively prepared set of 8-bit dubstep for the night.

We're also stoked to have DJ PCP playing, a legend in his lifetime around any forward-thinking & funky dancefloor, and a man with a hand in everything from Gramophone Disco to Radio na Life's longest running radioshow. Expect some exlusive original material, including a spot of live metal riffage, as well as the choicest chunks of bitcrunched sounds from this exclusive homoludo set.

Support comes from Gamepak resident DJ Zyme, hotting things up with some bitcrunk and chipstep selections, while live visuals come from demoscene VJ Re:Verse and 8-bit console visualist iNFOTOXIN. Oh, and expect the usual oddball assortment of bigscreen videogames and simply ridiculous levels of fun!

The Twisted Pepper (Mezz room), Middle Abbey Street. 11.15pm

That EP is great smile

First two tracks are rather zomby-esque.

Judging from the copy I have here, I think he's referencing the flimsy paper packaging and poor printing quality? hmm
Barely any of the insert is legible...

Excellent, the resurrection of the vague hope that I might just get to this. big_smile

There's something oddly familiar about this....

And I'm sure it'll happen again.

At least they figured out how to use the headphone jack instead of a mic. yikes

edit: And aren't actually all that bad.

Yeah, date's are useful. Too late for me now. sad

Or maybe even a cradle...

Or can anyone direct me to a place still selling them?
