Wondering if it'd be slower than 9.2.
Would probably be the easiest ones to use out-of-the-box for me since I've used 10.4.11 a bit.

10.1 is a slow piece of shit. Never consider it.
10.2 ran fine in my 600Mhz G3. Perhaps it runs decently on your Lombard. I remember many people installing it in those machines and it ran fine. the Lombard is a very, very good machine.

OS9 is a laughable OS.

Oh hello, it's a rompler.

*dooze*

Even if someone made a player for Winamp, a GAMEBOY play routine is nowhere to be seen as far as I can tell.

If all goes well, this guy might release it now after my request. I'll keep you posted.

I think someone else updated GT after Lasse stopped doing so, so you might want to contact him. Latest version was done by this other person. Or maybe one of the OSX porters.

Portamento works like that, I know it seems a bit unusual, but I remember this being pretty common in other trackers.

Asked and waiting for a reply.

I was wondering if pitch slide command could be set on the same row as the instrument, it doesn't seem to work for me...

C-4 01 101 (no effects)

C-4 01 000
---  00 101 (this works)

That is the way it is supposed to work.

Do you guys think I can contact Lasse Oorni to ask him if he could implement a pitch sweep command in the wavetable?

I don't think Lasse is maintaining GoatTracker anymore. Teh source is available, tough, so anyone could do this.

As far as I remember, the PLAYER source was never available to thirdparties, Paragon 5's catch on the subject was selling the player with your music to you for your prods.

I'll ask around about this.

The sounds are generated with whatever you feed it. I actually think it's fucking cool big_smile

ProTracker prowess.
Made in 1993.

This is a classic but maybe a lot of people haven't seen it yet.
I still have to find the Pink modules where he performed this sort of tricks.
The YouTube video skips a bunch of frames, I bet because of emulation.

That photo is amazing.  I really need to get down to South America and get in on this insanity some day.

I said it many times already... I'm not gonna insist anymore, I'll just wait for the mail to arrive  wink

However, if you really must stick with .MOD, then I recommend saving your song as a .MOD after inserting any command or envelope you think might not be compatible as it'll throw you a warning saying such.

This is not the only problem, the biggest problem is FREQUENCY RANGE.

You can only go from C-2 to, I think, something-4 on ProTracker.
You'll end up using notes that won't work on ProTracker.

PS: Pulselooper has just left the building.
