Maybe I should use word "lots" instead of "all".

Maybe you just should chill out and not call names at all. It's that simple. I know it's hard, but try not to call names on those motherfucking ignorants.

Some info on Sid2X board:

Some guys on this forum are negative and ignorant.

I wasn't even talking to you, but to the original poster who mentioned the SID2SID (NOT SID2X).
You shouldn't be calling anyone ignorant or any names anyway.
As Pulselooper said all the information about SID is not to be found in the MSSIAH board for SURE.

As I said, in Crossover, as soon as you change the latency in the Famitracker options, to something like 50ms, it works well.
It might be the same for Wine but Crossover seems nicer than Wine.

You need to build a circuitry to allow that. More trouble than you want.

6581 = old board
8580 = new board

with SID2SID or not.

Your 8580 is probably broken already anyway.

Dude it doens't work. What you've done is wrong. You are feeding 12VDC to a 9VDC IC. If you didn't burn it already or damage it, you are very fucking lucky.

You CAN'T install 8580s on an old board.

I just gave it a better try at Crossover, it seems the same, performance is ass.
sad

BAH, fixed it, in FAmitracker preferences, augment the latency of the sound driver.

Hm.. it runs great in Crossover.

Monday holiday wasn't picked by choice.
It worked out better for the venue to do it like this.

Of course it does work better for them. But it also inconvenes those traveling from abroad, to whom Monday is not a holiday, while even when flying from afar, a saturday or sunday is doable.

Making an all-day event on a Friday seems worse, since everyone in NYC is working.

sad

I guess you should do it on MOnday, since it stops early, but internationals would be compromised because they'd have to ask (those who have jobs) for at least monday and tuesday to be off. Sometimes this is impossible at work.

Oh , there goes my excitement sad

Sunday BEFORE a holiday does seem better as then the holiday can be the travel/recovery day.  But my name is not Peter.

Yeah, totally what I told to Betabot.
Whenever we get a holiday we make parties the day before. Monday you can recover. if you have to work next day, your turnout will suffer.
