a 4 channel simple version of lgpt on ds would be sweet. i am sure people would use it too. it would be like taking the the more powerful lgpt tracker and making it more minimalist like the amiga 500.
i like the idea of amiga 500 in your pocket.
i mean you can do that now and just not use the rest of the channels but if you make everything with 8bit samples and 4 channels and what not that would be awesome....

I hate leet bs writing. but yes piggy is the new everything. also working on some chip packs that should allow you to emulate the hardware pretty accurately. i recorded some osc with enough bars to be in the right pitch and with no clicking. working on some drum samples but the tests that i have done so far seem ok. i also have a set for zx spectrum in the works and possibly sega genisis fm. we will see how far i get. anyways. long story short. once these are all done you should be able to accurately emulate the sounds of these systems with no tuning and mix and match the sounds.

so far the nes Is the most accurate because the samples were made off of real hardware. trying to get the hardware working for the genisis as we speak.

as of now who is all booking at Chelsea Hostel? I dont want to get there and be like..... FOREVER ALONE.....

i remember trash 80 showing me him working this a while ago.

Title says it all. This is a mix tape of a series of NES songs I made in early 2008 to late 2009. These and other nsf's were on my powerpak for a long time. I decided to move on and to share for nostalgic/archival purposes. All tracks are recorded direct from the 2a03 chip and there is no mastering or any effects or EQ. Just raw recordings of nsf's slapped together in garageband and exported. mix is kinda funny but its good enough for some background music or something.
enjoy.

another benefit of the SGB, it's faster than a regular gameboy so you can do more complex tables and effects 'n shit.

i am not sure of that but i cant tell you otherwise.
also
fucking good call with the lsdj log. that is a nifty feature to have. if you do this mod besure to put up some recordins.

as i understand, the benefits are that there is a deeper low end and it records clean. the only draw back is that the clocking speed is a little faster than an actual gameboy. this causes the pitch to be slightly higher then normal. its not a big deal but if you intend to mix it with an actual gameboy you will be out of tune. the super gameboy it self is actually basically a gameboy built into a cartridge. the insides of the thing are pretty much just a normal gameboy but with the controls and visuals processed through by the snes engine rather than then in the cartridge. I would hypothesize because these components are taken out you may have a cleaner recording then using a prosounded dmg even, if you are using the moded sgb.

stability wise i have had the exact same experience with stable and ghetto.
both work well. once in a while i will get a freeze. save frequently and its not a problem.
