I use MMC to backup savs on my Smartboy cart. So it works for Smartboy.
I transfer savs from Smartboy to MMC and then from MMC to 64M USB Smart Card. Then usb download. So the MMC works with 64M in this direction - didn't need the other way so no idea about that.

Put LSDJ in slave sync mode.
Arduinoboy - LSDJ midi slave sync.
Press start in LSDJ (it's now waiting for midi signals).
Start your software sequencer (sends start command and midi clock).
Should play in sync now.

Yeah. Only noobs use pulse channels.

Ok, I don't want to flame this or anything.
If the key feature is signal output from cartridge - what's the benefit? Different kind of drum sound synthesis or something along those lines?

So basicaly your project idea is to make something you can already do with LSDJ?

I guess you want some kind of non tracker interface but still... so much work for 'someone' for so little novelty.

Good luck anyway I guess.

edit:

What function do you need from it that isn't in LSDj?

yeah, too late.

This is sick, great job! Can't wait for updates. I don't know how hard it is to write progs for this beast, I just remeber messing with some built in BASIC back in high school smile

edit: damn, now I need a TI! big_smile Do you have plans to share your knowledge on TI -> ATmega communication? That would save a lot of time to others (me)

I wouldn't say m-audio keystation is THAT shitty.

You can set the channel, check manual online.

Midi channel setting of your midi keyboard? You should get sound with channel 1-5.

Is your arduinoboy in the correct mode? Are it's leds responding to midi signals?

Use mGB to play gameboy as synth, not LSDJ. I've not used it myslef but check here for all the info you need. Or search cm.o for mGB.

I believe 80 was for KP1.
I've never used KP3, only KP2. I'd suggest checking out youtube reviews and tutorials and such. There's most of the interesting stuff covered. Plus manual.

I'd be interested in the sampling capabilities, mainly with midi clock sync...

The second part is exactly where you went wrong.
Good luck with the dispute.
