I appreciate the hard work they have put in - fuck, I would sign my life away in an instant to a label if they cared to offer me the chance - but, they are beige at best.

But then again, Nickelback are the most generic band about and they are the ones making $$$ from the poo they make.

Artist & Country connections please smile

Did you go to the page before you wrote this here?
No country connections, that shit is lame - chip be worldwide.

Further on this, we don't need to connect to every artist ever. The group is about seeing what we listen to, nothing more.

More photos!

No big deal, just a little group cos I like seeing the charts of groups of people...

Join if you dig.

I'd like descriptions of what was going on. An obvious one that sticks out would be the black and red skull for nullsleep. The naked virtuagirls for eat rabbit, the haunting phrases during little-scale's set...

I understand how Sabrepulse, Henry Homesweet and alike earn the "(musician)" tag, but what of plurals? I think there could be more than one "(musician)" in The 'Gooch and StarSCREAM and 8BK-ok.

I guess I am mainly pointing this out because I am furious that I cannot be there. You fucking dicks.

I'll be seeing Daedelus & Nosaj Thing once or twice in the next few weeks.  While I don't think either has any 8-bit-related aspects to their shows, I'll certainly report any I happen to notice.

videos for the uninitiated:
  - DAEDELUS with Monome
  - Nosaj Thing Visual Show Compilation Test Shoot

I saw Daedelus not too long ago. Dude is off the chain.

How often do you see a chip musician stage dive?

While I am amazing live - lots of chipdudes stagedive. Pretty well everyone at blip stage dives. Haha. However, the thing I'd like to point out about this photo is that I wasn't really diving onto a crowd, but onto Fenris an Celsius almost exclusively who fell to the ground and then i was shove to the ground myself. Good times. Great classic chips.

I think that Dot.AY is a great live performer. Emergency x2 (while not strictly the MOST chip) puts on some serious shows! Energywise, cTrix is a king. The best atmosphere I have ever felt at a
chipshow came from little-scale.

That is pretty freaking great.

YOU GO AUSTRALIA!

It seems like it went pretty well?!

I have just moved the thread over from the upcoming events section - just to keep the place tidy, we should keep discussion of the event in that thread.

Looks pretty amazing. Will be keen to watch the stream!

If it were 20 minutes of non tonal white noise, then I'd say that was not musical.

There are people that would argue that even such a thing was 'musical'. So your interpretation must be a few rungs above other places on this internet.
