Re: psp games and saturn emulation (26 replies, posted in General Discussion)
safe. I just want to make sure i understand what you're saying.
Do you mean I should upgrade to 6.20 Official Firmware ? Which would give me the comic reader right. And then i put on this PROC-C CFW ? To enable me to run LGPT and emulators ? But in doing that i wouldnt have the comic reader then would i ? sorry for my retardation. Its so fucking confusing. Also should i use that recovery program thing i read about to get rid of my current cfm so it doesnt get brick walled when i upgrade to 6.20 ?
basically what i am asking is with the 6.20 and pro c will i be able to have the comic reader and run homebrew shit ?
And im guess with this i cant play iso's and shit which im not too fussed about......
if im way off the mark, and super confused just tell me to give up and buy a book yo haha

to make my thread less retarded.
Should i just switch to 1.5 firmware ?
I think from what ive read thats the best option ?
maybe haha

Re: psp games and saturn emulation (26 replies, posted in General Discussion)
yeah thats the deal. It was PSP Comic. Which only seems to run on 1.5 yes. and it also has files for 3xx, but as im on 5.5 it didnt work of course.
My firmware is 5.50 GEN-D3
I did read about and saw this is pretty whack and outdated. The problem is i bought my psp here in shanghai already with the cfw on it, so im basically have no idea how it works.
From what i gathered there is now OFW that enables me to use sony's own Comic book reader.
And i also read that it is somehow possible to revert from my CFW to the Official Firmware again, but then i wouldnt be able to run the homebrew stuff like LGPT would I ?
I find it all super confusing to be honest.
To make it simpler maybe i ll ask this
Whats the best Firmware to be using thesedays for LGPT and comics ? ie - can i have firmware to allow both ?
ugh its all giving me a headache. seriously dont worry about it....im probably just asking retarded questions cos i really have no fucking clue haha
i am actually just gonna buy a book. for reals.

ugh the one i just got i cant seem to run under my 5.5 cfw.
to be honest this cfw shit all confuses the shit out of me. im at the point where i nearly threw my psp at the wall in a rage, so im gonna give up on reading comics and buy a book instead lol

Re: What happen to VGM Music Maker? (70 replies, posted in Sega)
fuck them bitches that were ungrateful.
I still use it lots (VGM MM). I think there are so many trackers thesedays, people tend to take them for granted. like ugh, this doesnt work EXACTLY how i want it to so its shit. I can understand why you'd be pissed off but rest assured i know there are those of us that do use VGM MM and i find it perfectly workable. Some people just expect these homebrew things to be as perfect as commercial products are from the word go....forgetting that its one dude doing all the pain staking work so we can make our tunes.
Thanks for your hard work dude, i appreciate it heaps for sure.

hello everyone
i had two things i wanted to ask about.
The first is "does anyone know a decent way to run a saturn emulator on windows ?"
i googled this many times and i never found an emulator i could get to work.
i figure if anyone has got one up and running well, then its likely that some of you guys have too.
Secondly i thought as im starting a thread, id kill two birds with one stone.
Please recommend your favourite few PSP games you would recommend.
Mine would be
Corpse Party
Manhumt 2
And probably one of the many need for speed games or something.....probably need for speed underground.
Thanks yo.
