Haha probably not since Zef lives in Canadian Siberia, but we HAVE gotten a bunch of show offers.  Maybe a show will happen if the planets align.

I'm still hoping for a DANIMAL ACROSS CANADA tour.

More to come!  I'll be going through my Friday recordings soon...

Maybe a compatibility issue with your CF card?  *shrug*
Also, here are the latest 'beta' mapper files.  Somehow I don't think this is your issue, but trying these is worth a shot I suppose.

Very very few roms don't work using this setup.  Even some previously unsupported MMC5 games (notably Castlevania III) work fine.

The grey black thing is bottom right is probably a multitap. So you can play with 4 players. The small thing above is an infrared sensor for a wireless controller.

The pink thing... My guess its a (bootleg) game cartridge with a handle on it.

Half right on the first one.  It's a NES Satellite, which is basically an infrared 4-player multitap.
The pink thing is a cleaning cartridge for the NES called the Eliminator.

gaahh I really wish i had the money to throw at this and snag (at least) one of those carts.  It's a good cause as far as I'm concerned, and if I wasn't plopping down so much to go to MAGFest this year I'd sooo be getting one of those.

Hmm, it's capable of dumping SRAM too.  This might be useful.

Whoa, I don't think I've heard a DMG+NES combination quite like this.  I love the sound.  Excellent work!

I see the same thing from time to time, removing and reinserting the cart usually does the trick for me.

EDIT: heh, I could have swore that the track descriptions were released at the same time as the anonymous songs.  Don't I look foolish now.

My customized NES.  Nothin' fancy: these are purely functional customizations.
I've added 4 RCA jacks to the back, 1 video, 3 audio (pulses, dpcm/noise/tri, and powerpak expansion).  The video out is just for the convenience of having all of the connectors on the back since it just doubles the existing video output.

The switch controls how the PowerPak's expansion channel is routed: up means the audio is routed to it's own output, middle means it's disconnected completely (which is more useful than you'd think, I've noticed that the PowerPak sometimes generates noise when it's not utilizing any expansion audio), and down means it's mixed in with the regular hardware output in which case the regular mixed hardware output is sent to the expansion output jack.  The potentiometer controls the level of the expansion channel when it's mixed in.

The stickers are remnants of the NES's previous owner.  I was going to remove them, but then I one night I noticed this:
