I had big plans for this. I wanted to continually 'update' the album, but in a way that changed the style completely. ie one week would be a dance mix of all the tracks, the next week seapunk inspired etc etc, with a backlog of all the previous 'versions' kept in the download. Alas, time constraints put in place due to uni and WeeklyTreats meant it never got realised sad

Some labels license their releases under CC, but most? What's the rationale behind releasing everything under CC on TWG and Pxl-Bot, anyway?

To ease the minds of artists we release with. I know as well as anyone it won't really make a difference if someone wants to flaunt the license, but it helps people sleep apparently. Also it's not a huge amount of effort to do it so there really is no reason for us not to.

Is this a day late for April 1st or something?

EDIT: 'Jack Falls' is okay, the rest is horrendous. Still unsure if trolling though.

You should definitely send your stuff to BleepStreet.

It might also be a good fit for Love & Tonic, if you want to try that:

You know i mostly care to have powerfull copyrights e.t.c
Thats all...
All of my tracks will get out for free download...
The reason i need a Chiptune Label is because i want to help the traffic e.t.c smile

In that case, sending out to places like TWG (my) blog or the Chiptune=WIn blog/page, maybe Videogame DJ's too, might help you get extra traffic. If they like your stuff they WILL write about it. Also ,most labels aim for pretty substantial CC licenses, everything we upload at TWG and Pxl-Bot are on CC BY-NC-SA. (for example)

Bit out of you league, no offence. I still wouldn't say don't contact them though, I just wouldn't get your hopes up. Take a look through other label's catalogues of releases, if you can see you music sitting alongside the other releases cohesively then it is likely they'll at least consider you.

Thanks little-scale for 'Nothing Has Been...' because it gives atmosphere to my night-time walks through cities and without it I think I'd cry often.
