With great power comes great responsibility. Piggy stables for handhelds are still super powerful.

Guess it's still under development that's why it runs in windows.
Sounds pretty rad though!!!

Yup - I think the references to braids means its running off the Mutable Braids source for you mutable instruments fans.

Great !!! Hope it will run on legacy handled.

There is a chance it may not, and may not even be compatible with old projects.

Email their support for a new key? Use virtual box instead?

yea i agree with luke, you can use pulse kick to trick the ear into hearing heavier kicks using wav bass.

parts + time it will take divided by how much you like the guy plus beer money.

No everything in one arrangement. Everything reinforcing everything else. No overdubs.

i like layering pulse and wav basses, so you get the nice snappy envelope of a pulse and the BERRRANG sub shake of the wav. Pulse snares are fun too, messing with high vibrato settings or layering it with your noise click.

My next level moment for my songs was just making everyone one instrument... way more cohesive, massive sounding.

Naturally, there’s MIDI in, so the Nerdsynth can be integrated in a multi-machine setup.

There’s a line level input to, well…get audio into the Nerdsynth, pretty sure we can come up with a nice application for that wink

Then, there’s the knobs on the Nerdsynth itself. Every function of the Nerdsynth will be available under a dedicated knob or (simple) key-combo. In our eyes, this is mandatory when designing a machine that you want to take on stage.

The NSA’s are circuit boards that have a sound device on them. We’re working on a dedicated Nerdsynth sound chip, but we intend to add a C64 SID chip NSA, a NSA which can play back General MIDI sounds, just to name a few. Working with the NSA’s, every Nerdsynth can be configured to be exactly the music machine you need it to be.

You can use the arduinoboy to record raw midi notes using"
-Arduinoboy
-Special midi out version of LSDJ (available on the download portal)
- Create an instrument table with a q00 command to send a midi note that is relative to whatever note your lsdj instrument is playing. You'll need to to do this on every instrument, or on every note you specify in the chain.

With the following caveats:

1. No midi sync is possible when using midiout mode, so what I do is record a reference stereo render, along with the notes and then edit them using the rendered mix as a reference point.
2. You can only record note on and off information. No velocity, no pitch bend.
3. You can configure the arduinoboy to have each lsdj channel go to specific midi channel in any combination.
