I tried to get this guy's stuff to work but had no luck (probably because I had no idea what I was doing):

I wired the cable for this a few times but still no dice (same reason I'm sure):

Hmmmm. Do LSDJ samples just sound really poor? They seem to sound OK if I only have the WAV voice playing but at soon as any other channel is used they sound awful.

I meant describe the sound i guess. Like the 808 kick used to go
"bomptttzzzzz" and now it goes "plp"... not that it would help probably.  smile

Could you describe the problem a little?
Also, if you've just started and don't have any songs to lose, a clean install might be the best option.

Fuck yeah, downloading now!  \m/

A link to the actual webpage is always nice:  http://nodetransmission.com/

I haven't gotten to listen to the release yet but I'll be keeping any eye on y'all being as you're in Cleveland and that counts as "close by" in the midwest. wink

EDIT:  oops, meant to post on the one in the Releases section but same difference I guess

Man there's great stuff in here!
Just to add some stuff on the opposite end of the resolution spectrum, here's where I've been uploading pics taken with the Android app "asciicam".  I'm slowly getting more interesting results, at least to me smile

An easy way to at least try it out would be to use an mp3 player FM transmitter.  Wireless, baby!

EDIT:  Here's a few reviews from CNET  http://reviews.cnet.com/1990-6519_7-6308508-1.html

Choose nsf from the file type dropdown?

Unless low-gain has something up his sleeve (and I think he does) then MGB or [that other one for GBC only that I can't think of the name] are your only options.

EDIT:  Pushpin!  That's the GBC one.

And/or get the Windows version from the ReBirth Museum, for free. (There's a Mac version, but it's for OS9, so it's kinda useless today.)

I had no idea you could get ReBirth for free.  That's really cool... now I may actually try out a Propellerhead product!
