I'm running this successfully in Live but have a few issues. I just loaded the vst from the download. The section about "SameBoy has to be built using msys2 (mingw) on Windows" is confusing me, is that something I should be doing?

Dear god, is it actually happening? yikes

Long, long ago, when I was but a naive kid whining about profanity on the internet (a Saga of Cringe so notorious, legend speaks in hushed tones of a concentrated effort to silence the silly child for good)... some of you may remember I also ran a blog. It was called The Chiptune Blog (truly, a brilliant name).

Thinking of starting it up again, posting about stuff I find on bandcamp, etc.

Is there any interest left for this sort of thing? And if so, what kind of posts / discussions would you like to see? (aside from me LARPing as my past self, and crying over profanity again)

This gave me a wave of nostalgia like I've not had in quite a while. smile Blog or podcast, I'd check it out.

Alright, this is a great surprise! smile

That lineup makes me smile big_smile

Feel free to stream anything from https://abandonedonfire.bandcamp.com (the most recent 3 EPs are probably most suited for general audiences)

Maybe try Instagram or Facebook message? I've been completely off social media lately so I don't know if he's active or not tho.

I had a flick through the 8bp website and ended up downloading about 5 albums that sounded exactly the same (with the exception of Anamanaguchi who sound like an 8-bit Dragonforce).

The easiest way to do this (I think) will be with two arduinoboys, analog sync adapter, and a 1/8” to two 1/8” y-adapter. An arduinoboy can only work in one mode at a time so one will control mgb and one will convert midi to analog clock. You can't wire midi straight to an analog adapter, you have to convert it.

Nice! I'm glad to see you got this going and a midi mod would be killer at this price big_smile

Definitely computer emulator over goomba. I'm not familiar with the best options for Mac but it will be far, far better than goomba for sound.

I would just like to state, for the record, my lasers are spelled with an "s." They're not fancy or edgy or hip lasers, initially, at least. But once they're coupled with waves and shot towards loveslaves, all bets are off.

This comment has had me combing back through all my posts about this to make sure my title contains a z and your title does not tongue
