Can't check, but is this wav? I would love to grab that if i could feed my piggy.

All files are .vgi or .y12. They can be read using TFM/VGM (which exports directly to .WAV) or DefleMask (which exports to .BIN and can be read from an emulator or the real hardware)

So, in the wake of the technology in my possession and insufficient funds further delaying the recording and release of my new EP, I didn't feel quite right sitting around doing nothing. So I've been playing the legendary *Shinobi III: Return of the Ninja Master* which has a great soundtrack. But as I played each stage, I've been ripping instrument and effects from the soundtrack using GensK. Having just completed the game, here are the fruits of my efforts: a painstakingly assembled library of >85< [count 'em] !!!85!!! patches, consisting of but by no means limited to:

winds
bass
leads
pads
horns
effects
other things

enjoy the awesome and powerful sounds of Shinobi III

because I love you so much,

How about a 16-bit cover of Adam Sandler's Hannukah song? finished it around noon. just needs vocals

so - let me get this right - you're using the sample channel's DAC - loading ultra small samples in and getting some wavetable synthesis going on it?  -pretty fucking rad!  does this mean you still have a half channel left or can you run 2 wavetables at the same time out of one channel?   like polyphony ala nanoloop 1.5's extra square.  1bit trix like beepola or atari pulsewidth modulation?

this thread is relevant to my interests. Also, the way Deflemask's volume tables for PSG are set up, makes me wonder if you could force pulse width mod on the square channels, too.

If I'd had known, I wouldn't have made plans for Florida. AND Harry Partridge is supposed to be there. and Jon st John. and Egoraptor. and AVGN.

ugh.....

ok I've been having a problem. I designed two separate instrument patches to serve as my hi-hat and crash cymbals, but on this new pattern I made, the envelopes for these two patches are really short. I didn't put any effect commands in, nor did I change the channel volume. what's going on here?

Could you please upload a module with that issue?, however, I think that it is the natural behavior of the YM2612, because the envelopes are NOT reseted on a new note on.

I think it might have been an issue with my computer. Restarted everything and it's all better now.        0.o
Also, it would be great to have a jam mode so I could play an instrument patch while a pattern is playing

Amendment: Ours is a "Kedromelon - theDutchess Split Set". Our original idea of vs was not possible. We'll still have fun!

A pair of screen shots of the Game Boy support before the release of the V5!.

How exciting! You're really working to build "the" multi-system tracker, not just FM-supported systems!

also: wavetable wavetable wavetables! can't wait to play with wavetables.

The manual that was bundled with my download (v4) only covers effect commands 1xx through Fxx
I studied your cover of (I think it was) the Green Hill Zone and found the 17XX command. Cool!

DUDE!, the manual is divided by Standard Effects and by specific SYSTEM's EFFECTS, so you have to open the SEGA Genesis sub-menu inside the manual to see the specific Genesis commands (in your case, 17xx DAC ON, but I added a lot of effects to the supported systems

ugh...

well, the 20xx command looks neat.
