Very enjoyable release, and pretty damn well composed! Big thumbs up from me wink

just mirrors of musical styles with a limited production set

FTFY. Otherwise, I fully agree with just about every word in that statement.

Lil' vid with more info on some of the new features:

Good news everyone, version 2.10 is here! Several new effects, improved keyhandling, and of course various bugfixes were implemented. For full details, check the original post in this thread.

new demo tune

@Overcesium: Glad to hear that wink

I got a French one for super cheap on eBay!

Which one did you get? 82STATS.fr by any chance? If so, is HT2 working ok on that? It should in theory because the 82STATS is just a rebranded 83, but nobody has tried it yet I think.

Yes, some temporary issues, hope the site will be back up in a few days.

In the meantime, you can grab HT2 and the manual here: https://github.com/utz82/HoustonTracker … p?raw=true

Version 2.1 is coming very soon, btw wink

As long as there's no direct confirmation from Grayscale that this is actually fraudulent, I would advise against taking action on this.

I'm so glad that I'm appearantly not the only one who has fond memories of this track. Best thing to ever come out of a PC Speaker.
Anyway great mix, man!

Dunno how the higher frequency res works either, but have a look at this player by Slimeball: http://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/7025 … 65_VIC.zip

Hell yes, this looks promising! So... what are your plans in regards to the feature set? Will it have viznut waveforms and extra frequency resolution?

Insane! OMD has always been among my VIC-20 favourites, and now it's just become even more amazing! Digging all the new screens.

great stuff, very forward thinking and innovative ways of doing drone.

Outstanding work, very well composed and polished.

I'm crap at promoting stuff as well, but the least I could do was to post this on my blog, hope some of my readers will actually send a few bucks your way.

Edit: Oh wow, just realized this is going to be an actual game. Hype!

@Tronimal: Yes, awesome!

@JaffaCakeMexica: Something similar to framerate based speed. No true BPM, in any case. I'm thinking about how to implement more fine-grained speed control, but it's unlikely to happen very soon.
