not that i use lsdj but i always start patterns with note cut in every channel i'm not using, unless i have special reason not to

how often do you really want a note from an old pattern to drone on for the whole time that channel is empty?

assembly language is not impossibly hard but it is probablyharder than lsdj. if you already tried any sort of computer programming (not html) before you will find it even easier

you are probably capable of doing it you just have to not expect to be able to make TRACKER LIKE LSDJ BUT WAY BETTERER AND AWESOMER within your first week. in fact it will be demoralising that you havent achieved anything you can show otherpeople in the early part of learning assembly  language but it won't take very long before you can make something you are proud of

i really don't like your idea. i think it is a bad idea. you are doing your fans a disservice by making it complicated to get your song which they will be able to get anyway if they want to.

my first album used modplug tracker, since then it has been >90% schism tracker with a handful of songs done in famitracker, a few in fl studio and some in the tool i wrote (sadly lost) Fsound.

i hope you find someone to collab with ))))
