i can load all of delek's pages including deflemask one fine (in firefox)
i have firefox phishing/malware warnings turned though
incidentally http://falcondigitizing.com/hmod.html is a 404 not found page which seems pretty harmless
but still, it is a bit odd that firefox is worried about it

Re: drag 'n' derp cart? (16 replies, posted in General Discussion)
there are a few problems with the "CHIP SCENE" but pricing / price as a barrier to entry is not one of those problems i feel
you can get a full gb setup for $70 if you want. that's a polyphonic synth + sequencer for what, 20 pints of beer?
i don't imagine abrasive is going to make profit on these carts even at this price and if he does i don't think it will be enough to live on
just get the ems cart (or a second hand one) if you can't afford it

Re: Recommend me a "compact" drummachine/groovebox (6 replies, posted in Other Hardware)
i had a qy-20, it is cool. (almost) gm sounds (it isn't fully gm compatible) + a few extra drum kits including 808 and 909-ish sounds
i guess the qy-70 is even cooler. they are a lot of fun to program on their own so you might end up not using that arduinoboy as much as you expected. or you could do it in reverse and control the gameboy with the qy
hope this helped

Re: DIY Covox like USB Soundcard/DAC (29 replies, posted in Other Hardware)
i think what boomlinde is saying earlier is that you take a and ADC and a DAC, wire them together , and then it will have analogue on both sides, input and output, and you just put it in a loop on your soundcard, audio comes: out of pc -> ADC -> DAC -> in to pc
no usb required
(the DAC coudl be one you built from resistors, and just use a stock ADC, i think)

command is the 16 bit command interpreter and thus not available on windows 64-bit editions. cmd is the 32/64 bit version in windows NT

Re: Nanoloop usb bank issues (14 replies, posted in Nintendo Handhelds)
you can do that on windows i believe,
i think the problem is that he is typing DOS/cmd commands into the interface of nlmidi after starting that program, ratehr than putting them straight into cmd

Re: Nanoloop usb bank issues (14 replies, posted in Nintendo Handhelds)
when you drag the nlmidi.exe onto the command line, instead of pressing enter, type what you wanted to type after it
so it will say "C:\blah\blah\nlmidi04.exe -receive blablabla.nl" with the blah and the blah replaced with whatever was there when you dragged it onto the command line as you were already doing
i hope this helps

i don't have the nl cart connected but that is what you should do
