Gonna check again when I have the time. Didn't notice the power LED 'cause I have a 'Chip Music In Stereo' lens from kitsch fitted The backlight was on though... Not sure if that means anything.

Alright, so getting back to this Auckland gig:
2 acts confirmed so far. Gonna hit up a couple of other dudes as well. Any NZ artists who wanna play? PM me your email and let me know you're keen so I can start spamming artists with updates (which won't be too frequent, just when certain things get confirmed). As far as dates go, Thurs 25th or Fri 26th of August are most likely, depending on venue etc. Heaps of time to plan though so 98% sure it's one of these dates.
Will start attempting to organize things in the next week or so. So be sure to PM me your email to register your interest and I'll keep you posted with deets!
Chur.
^ Any takers?

Haha really? Man... Every time I've opened it up, something wrong has happened to it! The screen is completely dead at the moment. Time to open it up again... Wonder what will be wrong with it this time
I think I just need to sit down, completely dismantle it, check everything and put it all back together very carefully

De-soldered the speaker and it ended up messing with everything (screen went blank, no sound at all)...!
Not sure if it's because of my dodgy soldering or if the speaker needs to be connected for the circuit to function 100%... Soldered the speaker back in and everything works again. I'll just leave the speaker how it is. Not too bothersome
Cheers for the suggestions!

Topic: need help with pro-sound (14 replies, posted in Nintendo Handhelds)
Just fitted my DMG with a Pro-Sound mod. Sounds great! Only thing is, the sound is coming out of the 3.5mm jack and also the speaker at the same time... Not sure if that's what it's supposed to do...? If I plug into the stock jack, the speaker cuts like normal, but keeps going if I plug into the newly fitted jack...
Any suggestions?

Thanks for the suggestions! Turns out it was both of those things! Re-soldered something and loosened it a bit. Working perfectly now

Yeah I have a RGBbb kit from kitsch... It did work fine for a while though, but one of the buttons wasn't pressing properly so I opened it again to fix it, and ever since, this problem.
I have opened it and loosened the screws but no change

So my DMG keeps holding up on the d-pad and the B button.... I've opened it up, it looks clean, nothing in the way that is holding the button down... What could it be? Perhaps the membranes are worn/doing something to hold the buttons down... I don't have any others I can put in to try.
Oh and also, after opening it one of the times and putting it back together, it was holding LEFT and B instead. But after opening it again, it went back to UP and B...
Anyone else ever have the same problem?
Cheers.
