However, it would be a *lot* quicker if Piggy could just read the XRNI metadata wink

Yeah, absolutelly. If piggy and renoise worked together, the sky would be the limit. smile

Basic XRNI support would be lovely (esp given Renoise's new seamless looping calculator thing, which makes non-clicking loops ridiculously super-easy) but a long shot, I appreciate...

I didn't test this on renoise, but have you tried exporting a sample with this calculator thing on piggy? Does it click on the looping point?

I would like to seeeeee, a "tips and tricks" project folder where we all put a little trick like, I dont know, how to do dubby echos with the rtig or something. Name the project

LGPT_irtgdubechos

That would be really cool. Anyway, I like almost all the ideas on this thread, because they all chase one goal: MAKE PIGGY TRANSCEND THE CHIPMUSIC AREA AND BECOME THE GREATEST PORTABLE SAMPLE-BASED MUSIC MAKER EVER.

I'm totally sure it is smile Just kiddin' around. Potentially stupid/lazy question that you don't have to answer but I figured I'd throw it out there: Does it help to load it on a real cart, or should I be able to tell the solution on an emulator?

just let me know if it works, I'm too lazy for that smile

If you only use one volume, it's technically one bit (at least I think so). I suppose your safest bet would be to choose a volume of two to the whatever power, but I'm not entirely sure

This would be a waste of DMG power. Why not use beepola or shiru's engine for the zx spectrum? That would be true 1-bit music.
