People are still impressed with that down here.

That's right. Even though we don't have many gigs going on here (and the worst part, all these gigs always have the same three persons: Subway, Droid-on and myself), people who go to these gigs always get a deep, fresh breath on the air of electronic music they never heard before (or had, but are not used to hear it live frequently). And once we at Chippanze always try to change our methodology on making music, I don't think people will get bored in a while.

It was way harder and frightening for me to perform in Berlin and New York, where people are much more used to chipmusic, or low-tech music.

Don't worry about that. I have a job too. smile

Hey, everybody has received their interfaces?

I'm willing to do a PURE GENMDM GENESIS HARDWARE FREQUENCY MODULATION COMP MOTHERFUCKER and release it through Chippanze.org. Anybody up for that?

Is there some Belleville Three-based inspiration on its releases?

No it's not. I bought one for 20 dollars.

Ok, It is a live session, so I didn't know exactly where to put this. If this is the wrong place I politely ask for some mod to transfer the thread.

octosquare is a partnership with Droid-on where videogame consoles and old computers are used live, drenched in effects, to produce ambient/noise/drone sessions.

Here is our first attempt: http://soundcloud.com/octosquare/session-00

cheers.

Once I get a MIDI box for my Libretto, I'll just use AdLib Tracker 2 as a OPL3 module and forget about the tracker issues.

right on man! that is a great idea.

works great!

LOL

Why just not use it running via dosbox? That's what I did for my adlib EP (AT2 freezes on my libretto - that's a common issue).
